I know this is a super super long shot but does anyone have 2 extra tickets for the party this Friday? A girlfriend is taking her granddaughter for the first time and wasn’t able to get tickets.

Rumor has it that the only party that is 100% sold out is 10/13, so have your friend call the ticket line ASAP. If she can check at a ticket booth or have someone do it for her, that is another option.

Is anything not seen or done at Disneyland the end of the world? NO. But the orb was extra special for me so I recommend that if one has the chance to see it, they should.

Yes, everyone has to be present to get their wristband. The CMs will place the band on each member of your group as they scan the ticket.

It sounds like things were better on other nights, but it also depends a little on where you're coming from. If you're enter DL from outside, then I'd just use the ticket gates at the main entrance even if the lines look longer than the non-special event entrance lines. If you're on Main Street, I'd probably consider exiting and entering. If you're deeper in the park, the heading to TL is probably faster.

Correct, assuming everything is working, they won't start scanning tickets and distributing wristbands until 3:00 pm (or 4:00 pm on Fri) because the MHP tickets aren't valid before that time.

Lines at the gate on tuesday at 3 were super long, so we entered with our APs. We picked up our wristbands with no wait at the starcade around 4:30 pm after riding some rides since lines were short.

I agree...I had to enter DL from the outside around 4:30 pm on the 25th and there was almost no line at the front gate either. I think there is always a huge number of guests trying to get wristbands right at the start and then it dies down at both locations soon thereafter.

For those looking for the headless horseman light up straw they are being sold at coke corner for 4.99 and you do not have to buy a drink.

I haven't heard about DCA locations but I learned this morning that they are also at Jolly Holiday. The horse and pumpkin have buttons that run them independently. There are 3 light modes: quick blink, slow blink and steady. There is also a foam ring around the button so they can't be accidently pushed.

I saw the wdwnt list, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be accurate or not because the Parks Blog post had said that the Headless Horseman clip was only going to be in DCA and in DL during the party hours. Sounds like they've decided to have them available all day in DL. For the most part, the wdwnt list is consistent with what I saw in the parks a few weeks ago (minus the items that were not yet available), I just wasn't sure about the HH...glad to hear that it's readily/widely available!

I have decided not to dress up in costume tomorrow. It's going to be around 92 degrees tomorrow. I will wear a cat tail and cat ears.

We are here! Our flight was a little delayed but we made it to the Disneyland Hotel by around 9:45. We had a little Disney Magic and our “standard room” in the Frontier Tower overlooks the pools instead of the parking lot. DH and DD11 went to do 1-2 rides in Disneyland. DD14 and I are sticking at the hotel. We will be up early to make EMH at DCA in the morning and then up late for MHP tomorrow night.

All the rumors and "the CM said" indicate that they do expect to get another shipment in at some point, however the date is not known.

I've seen the Blog Posting about the special Photopass Magic Shot opportunities in DCA, but I did come across a couple of HalloweenTime Magic Shots in Disneyland as well. There were three that I got: the poison apple cauldron, the Headless Horseman and the Grim Grinning Ghosts. I found all three at MHP, so I don't know if they're readily available during the day. I think the Headless Horseman and Grim Grinning Ghosts require it to be nighttime. I found both of those over in Adventureland, by Tarzan's Tree House.

I just ask every Photopass Photographer that I see if they have any Magic Shots. I just lucked out that the fellow by Tarzan's Treehouse happened to have both the Headless Horseman and the Ghosts. I got the Apple by the Villains M&G during MHP (it was a roaming PP in the area). I don't know if they're in a set location or if it's random. So, just ask every PP Photographer you see and hopefully you'll find the one that has these shots. Good luck!
