Yak and Yeti lunch is a terrible use of table credits. Only gave us two small plates to share for four people on the dining plan.

Can you give more details on this one. We have done Yak and Yeti in the past. We were on the deluxe plan and were able to order app, entree, and dessert. Why would you be sharing if everyone was using a dining credit?

We just had the breakfast there yesterday. Mimosas and some other drink was included with the meal. Just make sure your server knows you are on the DxDDP
At CRT, there’s no difference if your on the deluxe or the regular plan.

I think this may have been reported earlier, but I was a little confused. Has anybody had a alcohol selection with a QS Breakfast at a resort food court?
All-Star Music listed mimosas and bloody marys on the breakfast menu. I ordered smoothies, so I don’t know if prepackaged alcohol was also an option.

Did you only order two meals? If you're going to share, you might want to check the serving sizes before you do so.

Ate dinner at Landscapes of Flavor food court at AoA tonight using the QS DDP. There was an entire section of alcoholic beverage options. We picked Fat Tire and a prepackaged single serving of wine. Two CMs offered dessert as a substitution for a beverage, so we picked from the pastry case with our third meal.
So you got a pastry and nothing to drink at all with your meal? But if you had the mug, you could use that for a soda.

At AKL now, and this was our breakfast option also. Bloody mary’s and mimosas were the only alcoholic beverages available at breakfast in the Mara, while lunch and dinner included any of the beers in the refrigerated area.

We went to sunshine Seasons for dinner our first night in. They allowed DH to get a Fat Tire (beer) as his beverage, and they allowed DD to swap her beverage into a dessert (Mickey Cupcake). They did, however, force DH to open the beer can in the checkout line so he couldn’t just pocket it and save it for later.

I'm confused. So did your daughter not get anything to dink?

We travel with filtering water bottles and often skip ordering a drink when we're paying for our meals, or just order free ice water if we don't have our bottles with us. I could totally see doing the same thing on the dining plan if you prefer dessert at a particular location (and Sunshine Season's bakery would put it firmly in that category for me!) over the ubiquitous fountain soda/bottled juice.

DH just ordered lunch at Hurricane Hannah’s (our kids are swimming in SAB.). They said all drinks count on the dining plan so he got a burger and a “Poolside Iced tea”. Total value about $25 plus a generous tip (the bartender packed it all up to go for me, with extra sauces, cutlery, etc.). Decent value for a CS meal. Of course, you’d have to want a cocktail to get the same value.

If you do want a mixed drink with your Dining credit order you must order from the bartender side, not the counter next to it.

(FWIW - the bartender said the Poolside Iced Tea is the strongest drink served on Disney property. He said this as he was mixing it... we didn’t order because of that. :D)

So we had four people in our party using Deluxe plan. Three adults and one child. The server only allowed us to order two small plates OR one shareable plate. The small plates consist of the egg rolls, pot stickers, etc... it’s the first group listed on the menu. The shareable is the second group listed. Can’t remember what it consisted of. Maybe the dim sum platter?

We used Table credits for each person. The server was adamant that we couldn’t get four appetizers. The reason was because they really weren’t a Disney Restaurant (Landry’s obviously).

That is odd. You should have been able to get three small plates or one shareable and one small plate because each adult is entitled to their own appetizer on the deluxe plan. Kids don't get the same appetizer choices as adults; the kids meals are usually packaged as complete and include an appetizer/side specific to that menu, so the child wouldn't count as a fourth for appetizer purposes.

This is definitely not the experience we had, but it has been about a year. When we were there, DS6 was actually able to order a regular app since there were no kids apps on the menu. We will be going next month, so we will see what our experience is, we are also on the deluxe plan.

Non-Disney-owned restaurants seem to be the worst for training servers on the dining plans, and as such tend to have the most widely varying experiences with it. My youngest is an "adult" now, but when we were there last on the DxDDP we paid out of pocket for her soup because she didn't want to just share one of our appetizers and our server explained that the kids' plan couldn't be used for an adult app.

Has anyone had the option to eat at Boathouse yet? I just noticed that it was not listed on the participating restaurants list. Its a must do for my family and now i am getting worried. ( they love that mac n cheese)

Just dined at Flying Fish this evening. Wasn’t able to order from the adult menu for my child but no biggie. Just plain full from the non stop eating the past few days.

For the drink option, All wines are fair game as long as there is no asterisk next to it. I believe most if not all mixed drinks are eligible as well.

It is on the updated list: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/m...ld/en_us/PDF/Jan_2018_DDP_Locations_added.pdf. But I'm curious to hear experiences too because the newest menu at AllEars no longer has the DDP upcharge notations on it and I'm curious if that's because there's less pricing variation on the new menu so there aren't so many of them, or if AllEars just quit tracking them.
