Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Not sure if this has been posted prior, here is toiletries at YC currently

Also, we were temporarily in a king room, I took some pics, it was a weird room allllllll the way at the end of the second hall. Hence, the move. Would pics of that room be new for this thread? 5240 or 5420 ...

Also, cordials with dessert is the standard 4...Disaronno, cream liquor like Baileys, cognac, and Kahlua

Wow! That is a lot more toiletries than we have ever gotten before. They gave you the sunscreen too? And sorry, what are the 2 small tubes front & center? I hope they still have all this next month. Thanks again for posting!

Is there much of a difference between BC and YC CL? Does anyone prefer one over the other? I'm having no luck with getting a BWI room:sad:. Both would be standard view and are essentially the same price, YC is $6 less. Just FYI, I've stayed at both resorts non-cl before so I'm just looking for pros and cons of the lounge and offerings.

Oh and for everyone staying at AKL soon, they now have a hot dish every morning. They rotate biscuits and gravy, Turkey bobotie and corned beef hash. They still have oatmeal but no hot quinoa. This was a new addition since our October trip.
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The quinoa gods giveth and they taketh away . That was my go-to breakfast!

ETA: @trishadono has some gorgeous pictures that include the quinoa. All hope is not lost.

That was Jan 2017 . I posted because lots of people are going soon. Amazing how quickly things change. I go to gf and poly often and never the same 2 times in a row.

Sorry! But seeing pix of fav food is better than nothing, right? Lol

I so love you have dessert pics taken next to your bathroom sink. I hope you were wearing the snuggliest pjs you owned, and were preparing to eat these whilst reclining on your comfy bed.

Is it better to do online check in or not in club rooms? What should be the expectation about getting the packet of information about the resort?

Last time we did Club we did online check in and went straight to the room but never got the list of activities or anything. (that was at Sugarloaf). We are staying at the Poly this time. What should I anticipate on arrival? Should I do online check in?

I would do online check in, but I would also stop in King Kamehameha Club at the Poly upon arrival even if you don't receive notification. We were there earlier this year and didn't get our text until we were actually at the desk due to a glitch in the online check in (too many MagicBands on account?!). Even if you plan to go directly to the park, it's nice to grab a drink and/or treat before heading out. We didn't get a packet of information since everything was available online. The KKC staff is mostly amazing (housekeepers and female lounge attendants are fantastic and super friendly); just a few at the concierge desks that are meh and don't seem to care for their job.

Went to the lounge for breakfast and this was a nice surprise. Yesterday was yummy biscuits and gravy, my favorite.

Thanks for the heads up. Can’t wait to see what they have today.

We will definitely be eating breakfast in the lounge and prob grabbing lunch while we are out and about. But here is what I am wondering...we are sit-down dinner folks so I have booked ADRs every night in the 7:00 - 7:15 time frame, sprinkled among Epcot, DHS, and AK. I am thinking we can visit the lounge between 5:00 to 6:00 for a pre-dinner glass of wine and still make our ADRs if we are willing to Uber/Lyft/cab from AKL if we leave the resort no later than 6:00. I'm hoping we can make it back in the evenings before the dessert/cordials are over too, but I guess we'll see how timely the dinners progress. Anyone have any thoughts?
On our first CL trip, this is what we did. We would usually be out of the lounge by 6pm and it worked out fine.

That being said, after drinks and a few apps, we weren't all that hungry. Regular TS was ok because we could order as needed, but buffets were overkill. I would say try out your plan and if it's too much, reschedule accordingly. We find that a 12-1pm lunch is adequate for our scheduled meals. We might book something for the evening and only order apps, or just get snacks somewhere in the parks, after visiting the lounge.
