Pick Six: Quick Service

They barely give us time to try them before taking them away. Sorry you didn't get the chance.

It's my only change too since I don't go to the fair.
@goofy78 I looked at the menu just now and yep, corn dogs are gone. :( But i did notice a pretzel dog on the menu. That sounds yummy and promising. Sure, it aint no corn dog. But its better than nothing.

I had one in October and then come early February they were gone! I believe I saw a review of the pretzel dog and I don’t think it’s going to be up to par. I guess now I have to plan another DL trip and visit the little red wagon for my corn dog!!

ugh. That sucks. :( That little snack cart/wagon past Liberty Square right across Country Bear Jamboree (when your walking towards splash mountain) use to have corn dogs, but they weren't hand dipped. :( They took those away too a while back.

Check the food trucks on the west end of DS. They had hand-dipped corndogs back in November. They may still have them.

I think they are actually trying with ABC Commissary. My mom and I ate dinner there in October and I was blown away at the service.

Will have to give it a try. Last time I was there was 2 years ago. Burger was stale from a warmer, fries were cold and rest of items ordered were so-so. It matched the reviews I saw at the time. We tried Backlot and other QS eateries and found nothing notable except at Hollywood Scoops. Good ice cream sandwich there!

MK - Be Our Guest
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (I would pick Les Halles, but I go there more for snacks than actual meals)
DHS - ABC Commissary
AK - Satuli Canteen
Resort - Captain Cook's
Disney Springs - Wolfgang Puck Express

I enjoyed two of the meals I had there recently, but the last time I ate there I thought the food wasn't great again. We'll probably end up eating there again next trip though, as I want to try some stuff on their new menu.

MK - Columbia Harbour House
EP - Sunshine Seasons/Les Halles very close 2nd.
HS - ABC Commissary
AK - Restaurantosaurus Haven't tried Satu'li Canteen yet.
Resort - Captain Cook's
DS - Earl of Sandwich

Been a minute, but since I'm going later this month- here goes:

MK: Cosmic Rays
EP: Tangerine Café
HS: I'm still waiting. When I get there, I don't know where to go. Any suggestions?
AK: Flame Tree. May try Satu' li Canteen, but would be angry if it's not as good as advertised.
Resort: I've been going regularly to WDW, but NEVER been to a resort QS restaurant. (We trend a little commando. We're always in the parks.)
DS: Earl of Sandwich (but want to go somewhere else.)

MK - Pinocchio Village Haus
EP - Toss-up between Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie & Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
HS - ABC Commissary
AK - used to be Pizzafari because of an Italian sub they once had but don't know now. Will have to try Satu'li Canteen when we're there in Dec.
Resort - Mara at AKL
DS - Earl of Sandwich

For HS, Backlot Express, the ABC Commissary, and Fairfax Fare are all decent options. I will not state the QS places in HS are great, but they get the job done.

D-Luxe Burger at DS is really good. So is Blaze Pizza.

I think they are actually trying with ABC Commissary. My mom and I ate dinner there in October and I was blown away at the service. We ordered and they told us to sit where we wanted and they would bring our food to us. She said that that is what they do know after 4PM now. They even brought us condiments (we just wanted burgers), high quality silver colored silverware wrapped in a black napkin with a napkin ring and 2 free cupcakes (it was mom’s and my birthdays). One of the workers in there passed by us and saw it was our birthdays and proceeded to get the whole side of the restaurant to help her sing happy birthday to us. Also, not to forget the food, the burgers were hot and fresh. They also have steak fries (which I prefer) instead of regular Disney fries. They have even changed up their menu. Maybe you should give it a try.
So, I think they changed their menu back recently. I read on the Disney Food Blog about how ABC Commissary's menu had been updated and they had "lots of seafood options as well as several large salads". We decided to eat there last week (were at DHS for lunch and only had time for QS) and it was just terrible. There were 5 items on the menu. I couldn't believe this was the place that DFB said was now the top QS in DHS. There was a burger, chicken sandwich (what we got), chicken fingers, one salad, and fish fingers. That was it. I was so bummed, especially given how we had just left AK & could've eaten something way better over there. It was our anniversary/my birthday trip and DH doesn't love Disney, so I was trying to make sure everything we did was fun. :/

Let's see.....we rarely eat at MK but did enjoy a shared turkey leg from Tortuga Tavern and salad from Liberty Sq. once.
Weirdly enough we haven't eaten much at AK either but did enjoy Flaming Tree BBQ. Mr. Harambe's Fruit Market is nice too.
The family enjoyed their meal at ABC Commissary in HS one cold and rainy day; I wasn't hungry so dinna eat.
Epcot is the QS jackpot as far as parks are concerned. Right now we are loving Katsura Grill best but that can change w/ ease.
DS? Why that's easy. Sprinkles.

MK: Casey's Corner
EP: La Cantina de San Angel
HS: I'm going to guess it will be Woody's Lunchbox, but currently it's none.
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
Resort: Riverside Mill at POR
DS: Cookes of Dublin
