“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

OMG -- Finally!! I popped on right before i was going into a work presentation I couldn't believe my eyes. I scrambled to book and then thought after "I hope I picked the right day". We aren't going until the end of November so thankfully our FP window isn't for awhile -but this one event way kind of throwing our plans in limbo (that and the fact that the CP narrators are all TBD while we are there) but this party at least solidify the day we will do out CP dinner package.

I have a similar question. I just booked the party for 12/24, and it says the time is 9:30. However, I currently also have a Candlelight package booked the same evening for the 8:15 show. Are these both doable on the same night? I assumed that 9:30 means show up at 9:30...but is that correct? And even if it is 9:30, will the CP be done in time for us to get to the FEA party by 9:30? Or should I try to change my CP show time? Thanks in advance for any info/advice that anyone can provide. :)

From 12/23-12/30, Illuminations is at 10:30pm, so official party check-in is 9:30pm.

I don’t know the length of CP so not sure - but it seems like it’s relatively doable. Even if CP is an hour (I don’t think it’s that long)... you’re done 9:15pmish... then make your way back around to the dessert party.

You don’t ‘have’ to be there right at 9:30pm to check-in.

We just booked our party for the 5 of us for November 15th! Can't wait! We had SUCH a good time for our party last December, I was just waiting on dates to open up. Glad to see they opened "sorta" early!!! :)

I checked today sort of on a lark...I didn't expect dates to open until next month at the earliest given how things have worked lately! Glad I did!!!!!

So is it necessary to line up early to these or are the tables already assigned based on party size. We have the CP at 6:45 so with our frozen party starting at 8:30 if we show up at 8:30 or a couple minutes after should we be ok?

Perfect...thank you!!!

I looked up the length of CP and apparently it's around 40 minutes long. And I'm not one who minds if we're a few minutes late to the party, so I think it will work just fine for us. :)

BTW, that sounds like an absolute PERFECT Epcot day to me. An Epcot meal, CP, FEA Dessert Party, Christmas Eve. What more could you ask for?

Have fun.

Woohoo! We are booked for 10/31. We really lucked out with this being offered on our Epcot day! Now I can use a FP for something else. :D

Just curious...... how many are going for FEA and how many have booked this because it "may" be the last time you get to see Illuminations??
I am in the "Illuminations" group! :goodvibes
I’ll do you one better! I booked Aug 31 on the off chance it was the last night. lol Every time we see ROE I assume it’s the last time.

Aw, thanks! I know, right?!? That's what we're trying for...it'll be our last big vacation with our D before she's off to college (sniff sniff, lol!)...so we're trying to make it as perfect as possible for her. I know it's soooo busy at Christmastime, but we booked a CL split stay between WL and BC so we can avoid the roads and minimize car traffic as much as possible, and as long as they're still offering the CL FP+ program next month we'll be purchasing that too so we can make sure we get on at least 6 rides per day. We can't wait for December!!!

Just tried here in the UK and some dates show no tables available whilst others show a time match but no opportunity to book so looks like it's getting there!

Just want to comment on this, since I had to fight this off.

If you get a time match, it means there is availability. If you click the time and it doesn't do anything, it's the WEBSITE being glitchy. Right click the time that appears, and click "Open in new window" or "Open in new tab". Voila.....you should have the booking screen!

I am booked for Oct 18th. I wanted to book during the part of the trip that I am not on the DDP so I can enjoy the treats.

I have recently developed a gluten allergy, anyone have experience with how accommodating they are? I noted it on our reservation.

Plus WL at the holidays? Wow, you win December! :-)

It is NOT necessary to line up early. Tables are pre-assigned, so where you sit isn't going to change based on when you check in. :)

You should be 100% OK if you show up at 8:30 or a couple minutes later. The only impact will be how long you get to enjoy the dessert offerings, etc.

We were there last December (outdoor party), and I can tell you that there wasn't a bad seat in the house!

Thanks for the info. We (just like everyone else on this thread) are thrilled that we get to attend. It really seems worth it - fireworks, desserts and the frozen ride. We did the HEA party and felt let down with the desserts, rushing to get to the viewing area and then people hoisting their kids on their shoulders. It seems that with everyone at their own table with a good view there won't be as many frustrations.

Argh! - no party on 11/1, our pre-planned Epcot day. Now I have to choose to either switch our Epcot Day with Animal Kingdom, in order to do the party on 11/2 - but doing so, have to dump the 11/1 Ankershus lunch ADR. Ugh...

We were impressed with the quality of the desserts last December. There was a HUGE variety (including fresh fruit) and just about everything was delicious! We've done the wishes party a couple times (once for halloween, once just because) and were disappointed in both the quality and set up of that party (it created something of a logger jam). This was much better! The addition of a couple tasty adult beverages was nice, too!

You don't move from your table to see illuminations, so that was nice, too! We saw no hoisting or kid lifting at all....and nobody stood up at the rail, either. There just wasn't any need to. The seating seems spot on perfect in terms of viewing angle and table arrangement (so even the tables in the "2nd row" have a GREAT straight on shot to the action). I have seen a very small number of folks, in this thread, who were at parties where folks suddenly felt the need to stand along the rail...but they are VERY few and far between. It might even be discouraged by the CMs...IDK since nobody even tried anywhere near us at the party.

The one thing I saw some guests surprised about is this: Depending on your party size, you may be seated with other guests, at the same table. Since we're a party of 5...we didn't have that happen to us. But if you are a smaller party, I think your chances are higher for that to happen. We had two or 3 "combined" tables around us where the table mates seemed a little shocked by that, so I figure it needs mentioning.

One more thing: We found the whole move to FEA post party, and then the much more relaxed exit out of the park, to be MAGICAL. We strolled out, rather than being carried out in a mass wave of humanity...and it really makes the end to the day much nicer! Granted, the lines for the bus back to the resort was still long, but......it was totally worth the few extra minutes we got in the park!

I hope you have a GREAT time at your party. We did last December, and I'm hoping for exactly the same for our party this November!!!

Thanks so much for the right click idea. I was tearing my hair out trying to book before referring to this thread and, voila, there was my solution.

September 19, here we come! Now I just need the ADR gods to let me tweak a couple ADR times over the course of our trip and I can relax.
