Zootopia expansion coming to Shanghai

I can't see the image. Does it show for others?

Is the red space to the right of fantasyland? That seems like the most likely spot. I don't think much can fit between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

Nope, I can't see it.

I would love to see Little Rodentia in real life. It wouldn't cost that much either since it would just be a small scaled model, like the one in the Germany pavilion.

This land is worth doing just for the different animal ears and Pawpsicles they could sell.

I'd love to see a meet and greet with the sloth from the film. He could put his arm around a person really slowly and then wave goodbye after people have already left.

I'm not sure why the image isn't showing up anymore, sorry about that. The red space is to the right of fantasyland.

I didn’t realise Zootopia did so well in Asia as it’s one of those films that I’ve yet to see, not really drawn to it for some reason.

Disney should do a Zootopia promotion "Buy everything." ♫ "Don't stop until you've got nothing left... in the bank. Until your parents cry."♫ It writes itself.

Exhibit G – Baloo and Little John

So you are alright with Baloo from the Jungle Book, even though he walks like a human on two legs. Therefore you must be alright with Little John from Robin Hood, whose an almost exact duplicate of Baloo.

Little John though is from a story originally about humans. But he is obviously still an animal.

Or does him wearing a hat and shirt automatically make him not an animal in your eyes?

Never said the Zootopia characters weren't animals. I would not be okay with Robin Hood much like I am not okay with Zootopia.

But he is almost the same exact character. Yet you think he doesn't fit, but Baloo does, because he wears clothes.

I hate to jump in on this, as I am not as hard lined as some on what does and does not fit in Animal Kingdom

To me the question you have to ask is does the IP fit the theme of the park -which is not animals in itself, but instead animals in their natural habitat and living within the and supporting of the environment.

In that vein - I am fine with Pandora, as it has a huge theme on environment and protecting it and life.

IN this vein, I can agree with Jungle book, as it focuses life of the animals(and interaction of the "man") in their natural environments( IF you can get past the fact wolves and bears don't live in jungles ;) )
I even agree with Moana - as it is focused on how "nature and the spirit of it" was effected by the loss of the heart.

I don't think any animal IP fits though, like Zootopia or Robin Hood as it does not have that environment tie in. Honestly not sure Lion King does...but I guess it does as the kingdom was failing due to loss of Mufassa.

Again, this is all interpretation...and Disney will do what it wants

Looks like he got you Rteetz.

You could say the Robin Hood characters are almost human like, just like the Zootopia characters. In the story there is a king, a prince and even a friar.

Got me?

Robin Hood isn’t in AK either and for a reason.
