Yes, you will still be at 4/24. The 40,000 with a match request and a $200 credit seems to be the best way to go as @SouthFayetteFan mentioned to me, but I believe you can request to match to 70,000. I am going to be doing this samr thing in the next day or two.

FYI: The max match they'll give is 20k miles (per a lot of DPs) so unfortunately a 40k offer can only get to 60k.

Any suggestions for where to stay in San Diego? We have 7 nights at Spring Hills Suites Anaheim Maingate this July, but we'd like to spend 1-2 nights in SD to go to Sea World and maybe the beach (either at the end of the stay and checking out early, or in the middle and leaving and coming back). I should have 2 35k certs for Marriott from my Marriott Biz and SPG Biz cards (if I get the SPG certin time), so I'm open to using those. Also considering splurging for a stay in a nicer hotel/resort. I saw the Catamaran Resort mentioned elsewhere, and it looks really nice but man it's pricey in July! I also have Hilton points was but hoping to save those for Hawaii next year. TIA for any suggestions!

I've stayed at the Bayfront Hilton San Diego. Gorgeous hotel with one of the most amazing breakfasts I've ever had and incredible views. They are always posting midweek deals. Check them out to see if it is what you wanted.

Thanks for mentioning this! Got it on my EveryDay and also DH's BCE. Too bad not on the ones I'm working on MSR, lol. We're past final payment, but from CC posts, looks like buying OBC will work. I did it and got the offer used e-mail right away, fingers crossed that it credits. Once it credits, will buy more on DH's BCE. We may not spend it all, but I think I can cash out at the casino for 3%.

don't think you need to cash out at casino. my unused balance was credited back to my credit card, but check at guest services before last day.

Yes our district is a
Ways the last week of March (we’ll at least since DS has been in school) but lots of schools around here have different SB. Many private schools around here, especially the Catholic ones, have SB either the week before or after Easter.
