Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We've done this SEVERAL times and never an issue. Most recently on NYE, we kept hopping back and forth between AKL CL and BLT and never had an issue.

Absolutely not. There's not really a way for them to know who is and who is not a DVC member. I guess they could see you coming out of the DVC rooms since they're on the 6th floor but it's not like they've seen me coming and scatter. We've stayed there too many times to count at this point and I've never felt like I was treated differently.

I went back a few pages and didn't find the post you were quoting, so I'm going to piggy back off your post.

We too have been told we could access the CL floor all day, and have accessed it after check out.

The big issue we've had when trying to hop between resorts is the amount of time it takes. You might think hopping between WL and CR or Ft. WL would be easy, but either can take a while. One trip we went from WL to Ft. WL at night, and the CM insisted we could NOT walk back after dark. The shuttle bus never came after 45minutes! (there's supposed to be a WL/Ft. WL dedicated shuttle bus.) So we missed desserts and seeing the fireworks from our room.

Another time, we waited too long for the boat back to CR from WL. We'd swapped between WL and CR that day, then hopped back to WL to use the pool. I think we allowed 45 min to get back to CR, but it wasn't enough time.

I should ADD - the Universal CL's do NOT allow all day access (on day of check out). I think the elevator access ends about 1pm. It certainly goes until 11am, and if you are already in the lounge they won't kick you out; you can hang as long as you want. They do allow early access on arrival day though.

As far as AKL +DVC +CL: I wouldn't say the staff treated anyone any differently, but as a guest, I could readily identify the DVC folks - or at least some of them. When we visited, the DVC folks kinda all did the same thing: about 4:30pm they'd send 1 person to hold each table. Then about 5:20pm, the rest of the group would arrive. I noticed them because, more or less, other folks couldn't find places to sit. If they hadn't held the tables, we'd have been done and gone by 5:20pm.

Mind, it wasn't just us. Two men nearly came to blows!

While another guy, more or less, used part of the serving table as if it was his personal table. It was kinda gross, since he was more or less eating right over a food tray, almost as if the serving tray was his personal plate.

We haven't been back to AKL since that trip. And we loved ALK CL prior to that trip.

Sadly we decided to cancel our Sept trip due to the threat of Dorian. We just couldn’t deal with the uncertainty. But the good news is that we extended our Dec 2019 trip and will be staying AKL CL from the 19th - 26th 🎉

Sorry you cancelled for Sept, but glad you were able to extend your Dec trip. Hope you have a great time :).

Just booked BWI CL December 15 thru 19. It will be a quick trip. Haven't done BWI CL since 2013; last few times at YC.

Hope you have a great trip :goodvibes.

This time next week, i'll be sitting in the nose of a 747 headed for Orlando. Can't wait.

Have a great trip :wizard:.

Guys, we were getting pushed all the way to the bottom of page 2 with this thread with not a single post since yesterday morning.....I’m just trying to prop us up here!!

I don’t have anything specific to share, but it certainly won’t hurt to remind everyone of the great club level CMs who work so hard to make our trips so enjoyable. I know we’re paying a lot money to stay club level, but the great CMs can really make our stay that much more magical!! Shout out to Irv at the Poly!!!

I just booked club level at the Boardwalk for January. We've never stayed club level before and I'm not sure we will again, so I'm curious if this is one of the better CL's at Disney? I'm not really concerned about price -- is there one club level that is universally known as the best or is it just personal preference? I want to make sure we do one that has stellar service.
The Innkeepers club is spacious compared to the Beach Club lounge. We always stay at Boardwalk club level if it's available (end of Sept will be our 5th stay). I don't think you'll be disappointed. However, be sure and tell a cast member what you want. They don't necessarily "wait" on you and will happily stand and watch you without asking if you need something. Don't be shy, you're paying for it. Obviously, don't be rude about it :)

Is sunscreen usually included with club level (specificall WL)? Mine is 4oz (although its half empty) so it technically shouldn't go in my carryon. But we are likely going to swim shortly after arrival. Thanks!

We had sunscreen at BWI in March, but not at Poly in August

Similar to @KM82, we had sunscreen at YC-CL in February, but not at the same place in August.

Does anyone who has stayed in the Poly CL recently, have any pics or info on the beer/booze selections available in the fridge? I found a few pictures but they are fairly old. Also - is wine/champagne/Prosecco available all day? I would love to add a splash to that POG juice in the AM - but I don't think I saw anyone posting about that.

Follow up on the sunscreen question I posted earlier. I just got a call from the Old Faithful staff asking if I had any questions, so i inquired about the sunscreen. She said she believes there should be one in there, and was going to have an extra one placed in the room for us. And that they stock some at their desk in case rooms arent ready yet. I arrive tomorrow so can provide an in person update!

I think I am in love with club level already and I havent even stayed there yet. The staff has been so amazing so far!

The Old Faithful Club is wonderful! I hope you have a great trip!

I'm curious, how far in advance did you have to book at the Old Faithful Club? We booked last week for February and there were no rooms at Club Level left, so we went with The Innkeepers Club at BWI. But I really want to try Old Faithful. Enjoy your trip!

We booked probably 2 months ago for this weekend. I waited until AP discounts came out for our time frame because that determined where we would be staying. I would keep checking, especially after discounts drop because people change things around often.

We've stayed in all CL a few times and the only one to ever give us sunscreen was CR. They had it every time. We've been to BWI and WL the most and never had it in our rooms at either. Always have some so never asked for it

OFC is the only CL you can add on to a non-CL room. You don't have to book CL there, as long as you are ok with not being on the same floor. I think it's a bonus there as the CL floor has solid balconies and I really hate those.

Recent CR stay - yes
Recent Coronado stay - no
Though I should add, Coronado was very good about providing other toiletries and services. Coronado has the new big dispenser bottles in the shower of Shampoo, Conditioner and liquid soap. Everything else is traditional.

For sunscreen, try the travel section of a grocery/big box/pharmacy/online! If no sunscreen you like, they usually sell small empty travel bottlesf for $.99. If that option doesn't work, just put a small squirt into a small Ziploc bag (maybe snack, or "portion control" size), and label the outside with a Sharpie. For liquids, I double bag.

If you haven't heard: no more hand lotion or peppermint foot rub.

Though the gift shops of CR (and GF ) sell the full line of H2O products. CR even had H2O sales reps handing out free samples of an H2O wrinkle serum. Go figure?

I have to add, our mousekeeper at Coronado was exceptional! She even made an incredible flourish on the roll of toilet paper each day. You know how housekeepers often fold/tuck the end of the toilet paper? She made a fancy flourish each day. One day it looked like a fancy fan, the next it was folded into a peony!

Lol, my recent CL sunscreen scorecard with dates since this stuff can change all the time, they can run out, they can forget, they can start or stop offering things on a whim, a new manager comes in and wants to change things, etc. As always, YMMV!

BWI Feb 18 - No
AKL Apr 18 - No
Poly July 18 - No
GF SL Sept 18 - No
Poly Dec 18 - Yes
YC Feb 19 - Yes
CR Mar 19 - Yes
WL April 19 - Yes
Poly July 19 - Yes
YC Aug 19 - No (But I did have lotion, lol, for the time being! New to us at YC this trip were a shaving kit and two toothbrush kits)

In looking at this, I think I need to find some new vacation destinations. :scared1:

Worst case, they always have some for sale in the gift shops! Both at the hotels, and in the parks.

We recently priced out toiletries and OTC meds at CR and the prices were pretty reasonable.

Two other places that carry lots of oddball things at mostly reasonable prices are the China and Japan gift shops in Epcot! You can buy all kinds of facial masks, soaps, foot massagers, shampoo, conditioners, etc.
