Besties, Booze and Brrr!!! With Jen and Joe on the Go 5/8 January Wrap Up and new TR LInk! COMPLETE

Joe had The Black Magic Margarita developed by Neil Patrick Harris with a mixture of Mezcal, blackberry puree, Cassis liqueur, lime, and mint; served frozen. This was soooooo good.

I am def going to try this this week! Looks soo good.

I love this one!

All those Festival frame pics came out so good! I don't even think I've looked at half of ours lol.

We also shared the Queso con Jalapeno, warm white cheese dip with jalapenos, served with tortilla chips. For $10 this was a Disney food steal and so good it took everything in me not to lick the bowl clean.
This is something I haven't tried yet but definitely have to!

Fab photos! Love the "scream" ones and the ones of you guys in boats made me laugh! Brilliant shots of you both as a couple too (the top right of you both in France is my absolute favourite and should be in a frame for all to see) Looks like a gorgeous day and your margaritas look tasty. Believe it or not I've never had a margarita
I keep meaning to but then prosecco or chianti happens at Italy and I never make it to mexico:rotfl:

Maybe once I move away from England, I'll miss tea time and will have to book myself this event.

I used to confuse my Danish son-in-law no end when he first started dating my daughter by inviting him for "tea". He kept asking if I remembered that he didn't drink tea in the early days until she told him I meant food and whatever he wanted to drink :rotfl:

Hi everyone. Join Joe and me for an evening in Disney Springs. We share some cocktails and small plates at Wine Bar George after a relaxing boat ride from Port Orleans French Quarter. We spend some time in Uniqlo and have dessert at Amorettes. This was a great way to kick off our first night in Disney World. Oh, and the Disney Drinkers make an appearance. Yay! :cool1: :cool1:

Great vlog! I love how much fun you two have together! :goodvibes
I even got that foot photo from LWTL that I feel should be mandatory just like on the People Mover...Of course, it can only be taken if you sit in the front of the boat... :rotfl2:
It's a classic shot and definitely mandatory now!
Then, we got hungry again so we made a very special stop at the Mexico Pavillion at La Cava. Joe and I have only ordered drinks to go here but thought it would be fun to actually sit inside, enjoy some alcoholic beverages (yep, I'm talking margaritas) and some yummy queso dip and chips.
Bill and I had that in July and it was SO good. Like you, I managed to restrain myself from licking the bowl. Love La Cava!
More Pics...
You guys are just too, too cute!
:goodvibes

What a gorgeous evening! The fact that you can get to disney springs by boat from POFQ is a huge bonus for that resort! Love boats (well on calm disney waterways at least), hate buses so I'd definitely enjoy that means of getting to DS over any other. Wine bar George looks like a fun place to have a few drinks and apps. Must make it there someday plus creme brulee in Amorette's looks so pretty and hey there's fruit on there so good to get some healthy food in there :rotfl: Plenty of entertainment and shopping to pass the night away. Love it!

Darn...you just added two more things to the already way to long list of things I want to drink/eat when I get back to the parks! That Black Magic margarita and the chips and queso look mighty yummy!

Thanks for sharing your trip. I am enjoying reading it...I have to have a weekend where I can go back and watch the vlogs...can't do that here at work, lol.

I agree. They are super cute.

This was Heaven in a bowl.

Brilliant shots of you both as a couple too
Aww! Thank you.

Believe it or not I've never had a margarita
Then you must pop in next time you are in Epcot. They are sooo good and STRONG!

Great vlog! I love how much fun you two have together! :goodvibes
Thanks Suse! That's so kind of you to say.

It's a classic shot and definitely mandatory now!
LMAO!

It will become an Epcot staple from now on. LOL!

Aww!!!! ❤

Plenty of entertainment and shopping to pass the night away. Love it!
We love spending time in DS. There's just so much to do and see.

Holy cow! The queso dip was amazing (so were the margaritas, obviously).

You're so welcome. Thanks for reading along!!!! Joe and I really appreciate your support.❤:cool1::cool1:

Your EPCOT day looks like it was a lot of fun! I have yet to try the avocado margarita but it looks delicious! I am a bit hesitant to try it though since guac sometimes gives me bad heartburn and I'm pretty sure it's the avo 😭 probably worth just dealing with it! Lol

The Black Magic margarita looks delicious. It is real sweet? I had one of the margaritas at San Angel and it was much too sweet. It was one of the fruit drinks.

Your art photo frames turned out very cute. :)

I was also in need of a cocktail. So what better place to satisfy both my needs but Wine Bar George, of course. Joe thought this was a great idea as well.
Wine Bar George How Do I Love Thee.....Great choice. Of course you had me at two different kinds of balls :earboy2:

We had reservations for the Twining Tea Experience at Rose and Crown. I had heard about this by accident as I was making some dining reservations for this trip.
I recall seeing someone had done this and I thought it was part of F&W for some reason. Great to know they have it year round

We were served 3 different hot teas and learned how long each one should be brewed.
You mean I'm not supposed to make a cup of tea and let it brew for either 10 seconds or never even take the tea bag out??? Not that I ever do that :D

Is this really a thing? What does Neil Patrick Harris have to do with a margarita in Mexico :confused3

Wow, its like I'm looking at the real painting.

Pretty sure you should patent these shots

I don't know why but this picture cracks me up. Its like Joe is in the tiniest boat ever

Tell Joe I'm not sure suspenders are supposed to be worn that way :P

It's the right amount of sweet, and just super refreshing.

LMAO! Both balls were yummy and just the right size... :rotfl2:

I guess it was so popular that they expanded the availability...

YES! Apparently, he's very good friends with the tequila guy there and he helped design the new drink
.
Wow, its like I'm looking at the real painting.
I know, right!!! We should be models. LOL!!!

Pretty sure you should patent these shots
Hmmm?????

I thought the same thing. LOL!

Tell Joe I'm not sure suspenders are supposed to be worn that way :P
HAHA! He's actually holding my Loungefly. He realized after he saw the pic that he should have moved the bag to the side and THEN taken the pic. LOL!!!

TIFFINS AND ANIMAL KINGDOM AFTER HOURS...

What can I say about this evening, other than it was perfect. The park was still decorated for Christmas and I found it to be breathtaking. It was the one park I was dying to see decorated for the holidays. I honestly thought everything would have been taken down by now since it was the middle-end of January...Not the case. So, this was a major surprise!!! The huge Christmas tree at the entrance of the park, the garlands, luminaries, and lights around the park were a joy to see and I felt like it was Christmas all over again but without the stress of everything that comes with the holidays...

Joe and I entered the park around 6 pm. We had a 6:40 dining reservation. We were able to pick up our bands for DAH at 6:30. SCORE!!! That's 30 minutes early!!! We were also able to see the Tree of Life Awakening ceremony which was equally as beautiful. I loved every minute of it and had totally forgotten about it...Joe and I had never seen this before so we were really excited to get to view it.

After the ceremony, we walked over to Tiffins and were told there would be a little wait. So, what better way to spend our time while waiting for dinner than to pay a visit to Nomad Lounge next door. It was time to start with a before-dinner cocktail. I started with the Leaping Lizard and I really enjoyed this. Joe had the Boto-Rita. His drink was just ok and we both agreed mine was better. LOL!

Our pager went off just as we were paying the tab. So, we settled up and checked in for dinner. We were taken to an awesome table where we had an overview of the entire restaurant. Our server was wonderful and he provided us with a lot of information about the restaurant and how it was decorated. For apps, I had the Tiffins Salad, avocado, tomato, roasted sweet corn, queso fresco, with buttermilk dressing and Joe had the Tiffin's bread service which was actually recommended by @ariane37 This was sooooo good!!!! For our entrees, I had the lobster mac and cheese which is actually a side dish and Joe had the Pan-seared Black Grouper, Fingerling Potatoes, Onion Jam, Frisée-Jicama Slaw, and Cilantro Chutney. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. Tiffins has now become one of our favorite Signature restaurants in Disney!!! We skipped dessert because there were Mickey bars and popcorn to be had...

After Hours at AK was dead. At times, it felt like we were the only ones in the park. We rode Navi River (2x), FoP (2x), Dinosaur (2x), Triceratop's Spin, Everest (2x, just Joe), and Primeval Whirl (3x). We didn't have to wait for anything. We stayed until the park closed and agreed we would definitely do this after-hours event again!!!

Next up...Off to HS...
