Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Oh wow! I can't believe those would be empty often. They are so cute and in such a nice quiet area. I had read about them in a guide book, but never dreamed we would be able to stay there. The concierge part was a bonus. It was really a dream come true for me!
The quiet is one of the drawbacks to many. Then there's the price, they aren't cheap. And they only sleep 2. Combine all that with them being rather removed. Makes them great for honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic getaway. It's just a category that doesn't always book up quickly. They've learned that they can gift them to couples and it endears Disney to those couples and often gets them hooked (as you can attest to). It wasn't our first time to stay CL, or even CL at BWI. We'd picked BWI for our anniversary because it was a favorite. But it was one stay that really solidified it as a number 1 resort.

With the big caveat that things change all the time, I don’t “think” so. It appears there was tonic water on this particular evening, but I don’t think there was seltzer water (it’s possible it was out and I just didn’t notice). Related, I have seen people with Perrier before so I assume it’s in the back, but have not seen it out. YMMV!

Thanks. I hope they start stocking some seltzer or sparkling water options. The last few years I have some shipped to our room so we don't have to keep asking.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary a couple of weeks ago with a first time stay at the BWI. I had booked garden view, but when we checked in we were given one of the garden cottages. I was so excited that I cried! We had never stayed at club level before and the whole experience was fabulous. I can see why people like to do it every trip. I don't know why we were upgraded, but it's the most magical thing that ever happened to us at Disney! :)

DH and I received the same upgrade on a trip back in 2014! It was our first club level stay and we loved it! Since then, we’ve stayed at WL CL and have an upcoming trip at GDT CL. I didn’t know a thing about CL before our upgrade...they sure know how to reel you in!

I have yet to visit the BWI

BWI is an amazing resort! I had my first CL stay there in 2018 and it was great. All the positive reviews I read were right on. I highly recommend giving it a try if you have the chance :goodvibes.

Congrats on the upgrade! Glad you had a great time :flower3:.

CL Question: We have the chance (and are currently booked at) to do YC CL for July 4-11. In the past we have stayed at Contemporary CL and a split at BC/Contemporary CL. My family (especially my kids) love the contemporary (I think they truly love that monrail and it was their first resort). I can do another split stay this year with YC and Contemporary CL, but it will increase our cost about $600. If it were you would you just stay at YC CL or would you do the split stay to have the best of both worlds? I appreciate your feedback!

So excited! Just booked another club level stay at the BWI for October. That will make 5 stays there this year. Had to go so I can see my favorite cast members!
I am excited for you. We cannot wait to be there ourselves. We were there last June during a split stay and we decided for our spring trip this year it would just be a devoted BWI trip. This one we finally get to stay in the romantic cottages. I also am looking forward to meeting you.

You are so right! Makes me want to try other CLs now. 😊

Excited - just booked YC CL for the first week in September. Its been about 4 years since we have stayed at club level.... and our first time staying club level at YC! (Previously CL stays include Boardwalk, GF, & AKL) We took a break from Club Level for awhile because I felt like we weren't getting a great value from it.... but I think that we will be spending a lot of the time at the pool this trip (given its in September) so we will use the Club more. If there is anything that folks want to share about more recent changes to Club Level and/or experiences at YC - I'm all ears :earsgirl:
We stayed there in September. The lounge is a lot larger than before, but still fills up during the appetizer/drinks time. They offer fairly substantial meal options at that time. We felt like we didn’t need dinner reservations.

We will be staying at GF CL outer building in November. We have only stayed at YC/BC CL for the last eight years. Any tips for transportation, favorites CL foods or resort activities? TIA.

GF SL has the same food as RPC, with the exception of Mickey Waffles (now only in RPC.) Love their chicken nuggets with honey mustard! 🙃 As far as transportation goes, we usually like to take the monorail to MK and the boat back. You can also walk over to the TTC, and take the monorail to Epcot, if you’re up to it. Do you have little ones? Here is this months resort activity schedule...

Thank you so much. We have two “tween” girls. I hope they’ll like the pool. We are so used to the amazing one at yacht club/beach club.

My DD just turned 12 and she LOVES the Beach pool at GF. Both my kids say it’s their favorite slide! To be honest, when we stayed at Beach Club two years ago, they wanted to spend all their time at the quiet pool!!!! :faint: I repeatedly reminded them that you do not go to the Beach Club to go to the quiet pool!!! 😂 Hope your kids will enjoy it too!

I haven’t been over July 4th, but my understanding is the fireworks are pretty special. Would the split include CR on the 4th? How many nights would that $600 pay for? Seeing the fireworks from the lounge & being able to walk to MK would probably be worth it to me, if the CR stay was at least 3 nights. If you were at YC on the 4th, I don’t think I’d bother doing the split stay. But I personally love the YC CL, it’s our Disney “home”, so I am a little prejudice. So I also understand wanting to get some time in at your families favorite resort. How much of a stretch will the extra $600 be? Will you have to cut back on meals or extras to cover it? I wouldn’t do it if I had to cut out table service meals I planned on. I guess I am no help, lol!

Hello!
I'm totally new to posting on the DIS boards, but I have been stalking them for years. I tried to go back on this thread the last few months and haven't really seen any posts about the Poly CL. My husband and I were there for our anniversary a few years back and enjoyed it so much we booked it to celebrate again this July. Any recent posts or updates? I am hoping that it's still as great as I remembered. Thanks!

I’m sorry I cannot help you with Poly CL, but I know someone will be along to help. However, I just wanted to say:welcome:

Congrats on your upcoming trip and welcome to the boards! You should also come join us in the Poly thread, it's a great bunch of folks and CL gets discussed there from time to time also. We are staying CL for the first time, in May. I agree that Poly CL does not seem to get as much chatter. Even on YouTube I find there aren't as many videos as some of the other CLs. But everyone here is super nice and helpful if you have questions.

Hi there! I was wondering if I can get an opinion if paying for the extra fast passes is worth it at Club level this August if I am at Disney for four days. Thank you!
