Anyone here been to Amsterdam? Would love to hear :)
I was there with dd and ds almost 3 years ago. It is a safe and very fun city.

If you have a Hilton FNC, I'd highly recommend the WA. It's TDF! There's also a Hyatt property not too far from the WA that's bookable on points.

Do you have any specific questions?

Definitely book tickets for Ann Frank House well in advance and try for tickets first thing in the morning. We were one of the first groups in and it was packed. The line outside when we left was crazy (and everyone had advance tickets)! We went to the VanGogh Museum and really enjoyed it. Also did a food tour, which I highly recommend. We hired a private guide and driver for a day to take us to the countryside and Delft, which was really enjoyable. We also took a private car and driver to the Hague.

Oh yes if you want to see Anne Frank book those tickets as soon as possible or be prepared to sell your first born when you get there.

I really like how fast the Chase checking bonus posts! We have 2 more DDs (3 weeks) to get Wells Fargo then we may switch those DDs to BOA for the $500 checking bonus. They’ve sent three emails so they are basically begging at this point right?
You just reminded me to check on my TD Bank $300.00 bonus. Opened account on November 18th, transfers from Chase completed December 4th. Called and the CSR told me they have from 91 to 140 days to deposit the bonus (I had read that TD is slow to post bonuses). She said she sent a note to their back office and I should call back on Friday for the response. If I don't get the bonus I am fine (I knew it was a bit of a long shot to do the Chase transfer), I'd just like the money back in my Chase account!

Hey everyone! I’m so sorry for this random request, but I’m in MCO (for work :() and AA is offering a deal on their AA Barclays card. It’s to earn 60,000 and a companion fare at $99 after making a purchase.... is there a reason I shouldn’t do this??

:offtopic: question about wetsuits----what type of bathing suit does one wear under a wetsuit (full or shorty)? And would closed-toe Keens work as reef shoes?

Actually not quite so off topic since we'll be flying to Australia thanks to UR :rotfl:
Good question! I hadn’t even thought about that. I think when we did the Reef almost 20 years, I just wore my bikini and then you had the flippers since you were snorkeling also.

If you're thinking of using an Amex for a medical bill, call their billing department first to make sure they accept Amex. Almost none of the doctors/hospitals I pay accept them. It's my biggest bummer with Amex!
Good call! Just checked and they don't accept Amex. TY!

FYI, this is their normal offering. Nothing special here.

It's a good deal, I'm going for it next week when I fly AA. Note that Barclay has a 6/24 rule, their websites sucks but easy points.

Has anyone efiled their taxes? We're supposed to get a nice refund and I'm impatient and want to know about how long it took. Last year we got it within a week of filing but no dice so far.
