Florida Resident tickets - Not allowed to purchase with statements?

I live in Florida, got a mortgage statements to show. But what happens if you get denied?,
You have to pay the difference from full gate price or from online Disney price?
There are special Florida residents tickets that have no equal so how do you adjust that?, like 4 day hopper gets 4 days of water parks.
The value of the Florida resident ticket is applied whatever nonresident ticket you decide to buy. So if you paid $175 for a Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket, you can apply that $175 to whatever nonresident ticket.

I just picked up my brother from the airport. Apparently when they turned down their first national bank account because it was a Nebraska bank they tried offering up their statement from Navy Federal that has their Florida address and no dice.** I misunderstood they didn’t have the mortgage statement just the Verizon bill, navy federal & first national bank checking account statement either way one of these should have worked

OP, I think they got a misinformed CM and should have asked for a manager.

Now if you do the monthly pay for a FL Annual Pass, then the credit card you use must have a FL address.

None of those things are acceptable as proof of residence. They have to prove that they own or rent a residence in Florida

Myself and two adult sons have had FL APs for years.

Our permanent residence is in Georgia along with all our IDs.

I provided a mortgage statement showing my FL address, but it's mailed to GA.

My sons provided bank account statements from a National bank but with Florida address on account.

Do you know if it would reset my fast passes if they ended up having to pay the difference to go from Florida resident ticket to Non resident ticket?

Say you get forced to pay the upgrade, are their prices the same as what you could get online the day before? As sometimes good prices need to be bought 24hr in advance, buying at gate is also more expensive, so trying to save money could backfire?

Disney prices at the gate or online from Disney are the same. The cost of the day you visit can vary, but those prices are set far in advance and would be the same online or at the gate.

If you are trying to save money on tickets, check out this site which offers a good summary:

If you are trying to buy Florida tickets for non-Florida residents, they will check the ID of everyone, so you need proof you are a Florida resident. Unless you are a child.

Then tells the first CM, the AP is good until May (one year minus a day or two) and she looks like Oh, this must be a brand new policy that just started in the last 5 mins. I had no idea.
But of course it did
So it got fixed. But again, have there been people who had no idea and just thought it was their fault they didn't buy the tickets correctly?
IKR? You'd think their software would tell them the right policies, instead of guests having to catch a CM that knows the rules.

The reality is, unless you are a full time resident and have proof ( lease, deed, Florida Liscence, utility bill) you cant buy or use resident tickets. Quit trying to use tickets you cant use. It is your own fault for breaking rules and good for the CMS not allowing you to. If you dont live here, if your relatives dont live here nad they are over 18, if you are a pt resident with no proof, then quit trying to cheat the system. You arent a resident. Period.

That’s not the case though.

So you have taught your kids how to cheat to get what they want? I lived in GA for 20 years and couldve used my parents or brothers address to get a resident ap. I didnt. Why? Because its lying and is wrong. When we moved here and became "residents" last August we got resident APs. I guess to each his or her own, but telling everyone how you have lied for years to get something you shouldnt have isnt something I would do publicly.

That is absolutely 100% not true and people should stop posting false information which is really their opinion and not in any way the actual policy. Disney is crystal clear on what proof qualifies as proof of residency. Period! The OP had the proof and a CM made a mistake. Partial year residents who satisfy the proof requirements can buy Florida passes. Again . . .period.

The guidelines are posted by Disney. It clearly states you don't need a Florida DL if you have proof with the other documents already posted. Thre CM was mistaken and they should've got the Florida resident discount with the documents they presented.
No one is cheating the Disney rules in this case.

For FLORIDA tickets only, a child is defined as age 3-17. No ID needed for that age range. So people who qualify for the tickets under Disney policies can purchase tickets for children 3-17 (or grandchildren for that matter).

Can you provide a link that says you must be a "full-time resident" of Florida to qualify for Florida resident tickets? I'm looking on the Disney website now, and I don't see any mention of "full-time." Some people do live in multiple places during the year, so it seems unlikely that "full-time" is a requirement.

My brother mentioned that its also very common in Florida to have part timers -

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me confirm I was not crazy! We decided to buy the tickets for him online last night and we will just show his info when we get there. If we get a misinformed CM we will just go to a different one.

Thanks,
CJ

The 2 best documents to use are proof of insurance on the Florida home Bring the policy with you stating the Florida address being covered and an electric/water/sewer recent bill Recent being within the past 2 months showing service to the Florida address.
Doesn't matter if you have an out of state ID We go thru this every year. Those documents are always accepted as proof of owning a home.
