Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

Post 50 on this thread about DVC points also mentions the 6 month point extension lasting until 12/15- which the person posting points out would mean a 6/15 re-open.
Hmmm... could be some sort of soft reopening 6/1 with strict capacity limitations potentially affecting guest experience and new-normal reopening 6/15? So “soft” they feel they can’t justify it as full-enough DVC experience? ...Which would bring up a fascinating convo about APs- when does the clock restart on them? The day the first park opens? Do they extended them a couple extra weeks to make up for a potentially messy soft opening? Or do they *gulp* keep the clock stopped on them and allow only normal ticket holders during a soft-opening?...

To me a soft-open 6/1-15 potentially matches what we’ve seen with FP. First half of June was stupid hard for people to get FP, 2nd half has been harder than normal but the reports haven’t been as bad as the first half of the month.

But I’m still not sold on MK resorts only if they open in June :)

I also think that if they are going to reduce restaurant capacity, Epcot has to open just to keep dining options open and spread people out. There are a LOT of dining options in Epcot.
That has to be quite the logistical challenge. So many tables are practically placed on top of one another. It’s easy to pull tables but I think the logistics will come in to play with the kitchen CMs spacing out. How much/what food can they do spaced further apart?

100%. Worker’s Compensation exclusivity provisions (that I assume all states have) would prevent an employee from suing Disney.

But they could file a comp claim against Disney. And the case would be stronger if Florida expanded their presumption beyond that of just frontline workers. Like I said, in PA, if you catch COVID and happen to work in a retail store, you can file a comp claim and there is a presumption that you caught it at work. It doesn’t appear to be that expansive in Florida yet, but we will see where it goes.
If Florida expands their worker's comp presumption to include corvid, no matter if they are front line or not, this means that no Disney employee can claim worker compensation remedy and still sue.

That leaves non-Disney employees and guest the ability to sue. While I am guessing the fact the presumption could be submitted in a civil trail as evidence. It is just one point of argument to determine if there should be an award granted to the plaintiffs. It doesn't PROVE that Disney is at fault. The defense lawyers would just argue that the state of Florida was trying to help out the employees (Disney or otherwise) to have their workers comp insurance claims granted in a timely manner.

On another site today, someone noticed that it says online check in is now required and they must go directly to their room upon arrival. I have reservations in both June and July currently and mine dont say this, but it's something to keep an eye on

I hope it start working for everyone! I'm one of the "lucky" one that never received a room number and always had to go to desk. :)

Mine does say "go directly to your room" but it doesn't say anything about required. You can see my dates below.

I have 3 reservations late June thru early July and none of mine are showing that message....yet.

Do you all get a pop up window stating no online check in during closure when you attempt it on app?
(My check in is suppose to be June 9)
