Its so simple. Hey Governor so someone from NY NJ or CT can go to AZ for 14 days where rates are off the charts then come to FL but they can't come straight from their states??

Nothing. Vacations aside, I’m surprised no one asks about the unfiltered influx from other states with covid surges. That alone I think would be more concerning to Florida. Even if they keep the restriction from the tristate-state area to limit tourists, there is still a danger from those other states....

It makes you wonder if many Floridians are even aware that this disparity is currently the state of his EOs. Sure maybe removing the TriState from the restrictions doesn't concern FL residents, but adding new states (hot spots) surely DOES

Well like I said earlier...the woman on the phone (Covid line) didn’t tell me this weekend she said soon. She sounded very convincing that changes are coming. So changes could still be in the works. Today was all about the hospital situations. .I don’t even go until mid September so not super worried, just ticked off about it.

I know it was September but any idea of the date? I think the prior one ended 7/8 and was extended 60 days. I have a 9/9-9/15 trip planned And I’m trying to confirm that date. Hopefully I dint have to cancel for a 4th time. Thanks

I am not getting an option to message you. Just do a search for fla news station contact. That’s where I started. Some of the links worked and some didn’t. i was just trying to get awareness out there to someone who may be interested. I also sent an email to CNN. Lol. I just want someone to question it Since there is no real basis or reason for it anymore.

This morning I emailed CNN, Rossen Reports, and numerous local FL news stations. Thanks for giving me the idea. It's not just about vacations! It's about Floridians being at further risk.
I can't believe masks are still not mandated (statewide) in a state with such great community spread. Our cases in NJ are very low and I still see (in my immediate area. Haven't been to boardwalks or beaches) 100% of people wearing masks inside stores, restaurants, etc. I'd guess maybe 2-3% I see have them down under nose. From what I've observed... and I am actively looking..... WE have learned to be safe! We are the *least* risky travelers!

I took that to mean perhaps NY State & others will come off the 14 day quarantine list and other states could be added based on increase or decrease of COVID cases in a particular state.

By the end of the month ....not in any rush to stop those with the high infection rate from coming on over, I guess.

There were 5 COVID related deaths in Oneida County in New York State over the weekend, all nursing home related as reported around 7 AM this morning by WIBX news (local news organization).
