I'm not sure if it would need a US Coast Guard inspection if it was stuck in the sand in the Bahamas. The pirate ship was more than a movie prop. It had to be USCG approved to be used on the movie set which ment it had to be sea worthy. At then end of the movie use, Disney was trying to figure out what to do with it. At one point it was on the market but no one wanted to buy it. During a meeting, it was brought up about what to try next, it was here that Karl Holz said that if nobody else wants the ship, he would take it. As president of DCL at the time, he got more than a few looks and jokes for adding to the cruise line fleet. The Flying Dutchman was taken to Castaway Cay and stayed until it could no longer pass USCG inspections. It was then take to another part of the island and retired. (lots of little pieces). I would have liked to have seen the ship pulled offshore and sunk. Then it could have been a fishing reef, a sight for a glass bottom boat ride or a scuba destination.
Add Mexican into the Cabanas rotation beyond Pirate Night.
Like the free popcorn idea, I think Cabana's set up now is better than the the original straight buffet line that was original to the Classic ships. I'm not sure what happened with your bus but in 22 cruises we have never had an issue with the buses going to Port Canaveral.Offer free popcorn for the shows.
Change the layout of the food stations in Cabanas.
Make the magical express as magical as it used to be. Last October, it took us an hour in a line just to get on a bus to the port.

Say... I have only been on the classic ships. Two on the magic and four on the wonder. What types of difference as well I notice?Funny how people like different things. I would like Cabanas to go back to the Classic ship style original set up. I really dislike it now.
That was our first time having an issue with the bus but friends also had a problem on a cruise just before the pandemic hit. I am just hoping it’s not the start of a trend for them!
In Cabana's on the Dream, It's confusing. The line seemingly starts at both ends because the elevator comes up on one end and the main door is at the other end so people are confused and trying to walk around each other in a line coming from 2 directions.Say... I wonder if that will change and that we will be required to walk in a one-way fashion as some stores have set for our safety right out of the elevators. In Cabana's on the Dream, It's confusing. You're right about people liking different things because my youngest daughter liked the old buffet setup too. As far as the buses go, Our last cruise on the Fantasy which was the next to the last one before the shutdown, the bus transfer was as smooth as ever from Port Orleans Riverside.Funny how people like different things. So that's the problem why some people are confused because there are separate stations so there is no line. Too many people are looking for the beginning of the buffet but its what ever station you want to start at.IN Cabana's on the Dream It's confusing. The line seemingly starts at both ends because the elevator comes up on one end and the main door is at the other end so people are confused and trying to walk around each other in a line coming from 2 directions. (I'm sorry, I dont know how this duplicated)
See, now the thing is, when the Dream class was built, a single file line through the buffet was not the way that most other cruise lines handled it. They have "stations". You can go from one to another, in no particular order. DCL designed the new Cabanas with that in mind.In Cabana's on the Dream, It's confusing.
