***Official September 2020 Thread***

Hello fellow September peeps! Made it to the teens today- 19 days to go. Recap: Staying at CCV. Travelers are My husband and I and two of our adult daughters. Amber is a diehard Disney connoisseur and goes to Disney at least twice a year. Adrienne (25) has only been to Disney once (2012). 2012 was the first time any of us had gone to WDW. Adrienne didn't get the Disney bug like Amber and I did. But, a month ago, she decided to tag along.

I am kinda antsy because I am a planner. FPs, dining, etc. I have made some dining reservations, but of course we are winging it with no FP+.

We are looking forward to staying at CCV.

I hope they open a few more restaurants before we go, I would love to go to Artist Point. They could open it and not have the characters walking around. Maybe set them up so you stand in front of a rope to get pics? IDK.... I would even go there just for the food though. We are going to BOG since Adrienne has not even seen the castle- well like i said it will be so new to her since so much has changed since 2012.

I saw a DFB post about changes to the inside of Casey's to accommodate social distancing. I would be so happy if it opens soon! One of our most favorite Disney memories is our family eating a relaxed dinner there before fireworks and my daughter stealing/sharing my husband's plastic cheese. We felt like we were in a time bubble watching everyone hurry around us. I know the fireworks won't be there but we'd still like to go.

15 days to go! Went shopping today and bought a cute new Disney T-shirt at Box Lunch :)

I have to tell you I am the opposite; I don't plan our own trips in too much detail lol. If the kids are with us I do a few more ADR's than when it's just DH and I in which case I only do 1 or 2; either way we end up changing, cancelling and adding when we're there! And I loathe FP+ but use it because it's there.

So I LOVED our trip in July BECAUSE we didn't need to plan as much or think about what rides would have long lines, be on our phones getting additional FP's etc. It was so stress-free!! We even changed our park day on the fly and no thinking about "ooh but can we still get FP's for headliners last minute?" I don't want FP+ back lol.
Anyway point is you may feel like it's freeing when you get there :sunny: We do go usually 6-10 times a year so that also figured in to my lack of planning but it's so nice to have LESS to think about!
We are looking forward to staying at CCV.
WL is my absolute fave and CCV is great! We are trying Boulder Ridge this time for the first time so we'll probably be there like 1 night when you are lol

5 days for us! I ordered matching Haunted Mansion tees for DH and I (1st time ever, and he approved) in different colors though, then he surprised me by ordering a Baby Yoda shirt for me with matching socks, and a Quill shirt for him (it says "I Have Spoken") so that was a nice surprise to get on Saturday. I'm gathering things together but haven't officially started packing yet. I made sure we have all the essentials so I won't have to scramble to the store for anything. I can't wait!!!

We arrive on Thursday. 2 more days of work!!!!

Just saw that there is no boat service to Epcot and HS. Anyone know if there is bus service from the Swan to HS? Or is it walk for both parks?

Just got my ticket emailed to me this morning and was able to make reservations for the parks I wanted each day! The availability calendar is not accurate. I was able to get DHS on the 13th as a resort guest, despite the public calendar saying it wasn't available.

I'll be at the Beach Club Villas and the site shows either walk, boat, or Skyliner for accessing HS. Boat or walk to access Epcot. Neither of those parks has Disney Bus Service from the Beach Club resort. I've not seen any notices about the boats not running.
I can only assume Swan would be similar.

11 Days to go. First time at POP with DD and 2YO granddaughter (1st trip and 1st plane rider). This is a quickie 3 day trip as teaser for full week next March (also at POP).

I understand that Swan and Dolphin have contracted with Mears to take guests to Epcot and HS. For BWV, BCV and YC you are expected to walk. We are renting a car and will probably drive to HS. We will miss the Friendship boats.

Hi! Usually all that is correct however unfortunately the boats have not yet started back up. Walking to HS is your best bet (or getting a Lyft/Uber); you can walk to Epcot to get on the skyliner however because Epcot opens later than HS it may not get you there are as early as you'd like :)

Unless it's changed in the last week yes you are correct!
