Jungle Cruise is my favorite Disney ride so obviously I am a bit worried - BUT it seems like they are going to lean into the parts I love the most: the humor and role of the Skipper ... so call me cautiously optimistic

They ahd some effects on the Hong Kong one that I rode when I was there, so woudl be cool to see some more added

Yeah, TDL had some projection mapping going on in the tunnel and at the elephant pool which was the big climax. I didn't mind not understanding the jokes - I just went with a naration in my head and was probably the dumb, chuckling American.

They are referring to cultural depictions that could be considered out-of-touch. The JC isn't too bad, but I could think of a few things that are pretty rooted in the European colonial era that could be taken in a negative way.

I do hope they keep Trader Sam though - that guy runs some killer deals!

Think the characters in the ride. The adventures on the pole are all white currently, indigenous people represented certain ways. This isn’t about making the boats easier to get on and off.

I think by "inclusive" they mean more welcoming to all people and less insensitive to some cultures

So more that it will be less exclusive vs a typical meaning of inclusive

Yeah, and while it is hard to do that on a ride where the context is heavily based on the European Colonial era, I think they can do so. I don't necessarily find the depictions of natives "offensive" but it does lack context. They can certainly portray it in a better way. I like the idea of adding actual characters with defined backstories. Maybe there will be more nods to the S.E.A.

Said in a different thread but this was a test. This was not during normal operation. This also does not qualify as a crash IMO. Clickbait tends to win out, this was more like bumper cars.

I never said it was a crash, but that impact would be felt.

I think if people were at the proper angle and took a video of the Skyliner's coming into the stations it would look much worse. I thought we were going to collide every single time we came into a station. Hint, we never did.
