WandaVision SPOILERS thread

Why Parent Trap? My son and I argue why it is on the marquee. He says because they are twins. I say because the parents are trapped in Wanda’s world. Remember Vision noticed no kids last time. Now there are a ton of them. Are they real? Were they created? Is it that much crueler to mind control children? Are they not controlled then?

There were a whole bunch of references that were eventually deciphered. One was a a reference where Pietro says something about something being "kick-***". Evan Peters was in the movie Kick-*** as well as Kick-*** 2, playing the friend (Todd Haynes aka ***-Kicker) of Dave Lizewski, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Pietro in Age of Ultron. And Kick-*** is sort of a Marvel property.

This is awesome. Love it. How about this one? I wonder if it’ll get a nod?22BEA44A-4B31-439F-B4BC-715938DC1E09.jpeg

Lot of questions here. Hmm. Anyone? Anyone?
I don’t know much of the Marvel literature so any info?
Kids are evil and will take over the world? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would say Paretn Trap because it was a Disney movie out at the time and also the twins connection. I don't know if it will get intot eh parents - if it does I hope it's not Magneto as it was int eh comics for a while. I think the kids were jsut previously "off camera" - in the older sitcoms you might never see neighborhood kids, so it made sense. We see what happened to the people who are not in "the show" at any given time - they just sort of freeze until they are needed in the scene or the principle characters so to speak move into their location. In a sitcom based on "Malcolm in the Middle" you would see kids around so there were some, but I think they were always there.

DOn't worry too much about the comics - at this point they have made major departures from anything seen in them.

When the fourth wall is broken by one of the characters, there have been many instances so far. Is it for the benefit of the character's outside the Hex or is it for the benefit of the viewer at home? Wouldn't that be a wonderful twist? 🧐 After all the answer to the question who is doing this to Wanda and Vision is us because it is what we want to see. We are powering the Hex.

Don't recall the other times, but this one was specifically because it was a riff on Malcolm in the Middle.

It also depends on whether or not you consider the fourth wall to be any conceit that the actors behave only as if their fictional world is real and make no acknowledgement of there being an audience or that they are being recorded.

There was the scene where Agatha asks something about possibly redoing a scene (take it again from the top).

With all this different realities, what if Wanda got the mind stone from someone or somewhere else, and Vision is indeed alive, just with no memories as his memory died when he did by Thanos? Hmm.

What if the kids are really the key to get Wanda back to this reality?

Will be watching the new episode tomorrow early morning.

Well spoilers were right about Agnes. Quite the witch she is and helping? Wanda. At least this is going faster. Agnes says she is the one directing Wanda.

Kids are missing, and when she goes into the basement, it looks other worldly looking, Agnes finds her and tells her she is the director. Shows the episodes and title to her view, including saying she killed the dog and like Wanda, changed things in the town.

Yay, Vision got Darcy back to who she is. And ooh Monica is certainly Photon, as she got into the town as herself. Too bad her vehicle did not.

And at end of episode, Monica knows where Wanda is.

Was interesting, Darcy gave Vision his history. And confirmed his body was being used by Hayward to make Vision live. Why Hayward was tracking him. To be used how? Hydra? But sweet of Darcy to say Wanda was the better person to make him alive, and she says Vision and Wavnda’s love is real. With that, Darcy got stoped to get to Wanda, so after Darcy’s pep talk about love, he flew away from Darcy, I guess to go to Wanda.

Quite the Office tribute, and 4 wall indeed.

Man this series. And who wants the "Agatha" Song NOW. The composers are just knocking it out of the park. But hey these are Broadway composers who made Frozen's music so yeah.

Also what is Agatha's game?? I think that the next two episodes will have no Sitcom straight MCU.

Agatha's in my crap list for what she did to Sparky.

That guy on tv: Steven Col-bear
Somebody I used to work with: Steven Col-burt (he specifically said so)

Stephen Colbert's brother Ed has showed up on his shows before to discuss intellectual property law. At the end of one of them, he asked how he pronounced it - COLE-BEAR or COL-BURT. Ed pronounced it with the hard T and the response was "See you in Hell."

Oh and Agnes created Wanda’s brother, who sneaks up when Monica starts to go into the basement. Snoopers gotta snoop he says to Monica at the end of the show.

And I am glad to say, no fantastic 4 seen, just a no name aero person Monica knows.

So there is a exciting character still to be seen.

And who is the missing person Woo wanted to find?

Yes, think Hahn is doing a great job as Agatha.

One of the clues was that Agnes didn't have a corresponding New Jersey driver license on her photo, so at least at the time they hadn't identified her as an existing Westview resident.

They did put in Agnes stuck in place in the catatonic state with Vision waking her up, but that might have simply been a red herring.
