Official 2021 "Disney After Hours Boo Bash" Thread

Finally got through on DVC and was told since i'm renting I can't buy them at all...that I have to wait until June 15th to buy them. That today is for DVC members only?? Guess it just depends if you get lucky with which operator you get.
I don’t think that’s accurate, you just can’t buy them through dvc. You can attempt the main tix line but yikes based on reports in here.
Good luck to everyone! I didn‘t end up with any dates that worked for us because we are going around the 50th.

I have AP and called the AP line (407 939 7277) and got through at 9:00. Told the voice prompt “event tickets” and waited on hold for about 2 hours and 25 minutes. CM picked up, and I had my tickets and confirmation number in about 5 minutes.

I have no idea the wait because I got through on the spanish line and it was too fast for me to translate before getting the hold music…my Spanish needs some work but at least the Disney tunes are in English!

On the bright side, I'm now getting some busy signals mixed in with the "call failed," "all circuits are busy," and "call cannot be completed as dialed" messages. Maybe that's a good sign. Sigh.

Finally. I started calling shortly after 8:00ET using 407-939-1929, a number I'd written down somewhere along the way. Calls weren't going through, circuits busy, etc., etc. When I finally got placed on hold I waited another 2 hours and 46 minutes. However, Halloween wasn't available so had to choose another date. CM really tried for Halloween, started by wanting six tickets, even tried to purchase only two but nothing available. I asked if there would be more released next week and he said he had not heard that would be the case. Fingers crossed for all still trying!

So what time does the phone lines close since I think I'll be still attempting to get through?

For those just tuning in...Let's throw a rundown into the middle of this...Correct me where I'm wrong...
  • Color of DVC card doesn't matter. Whatsoever. I am a resale owner and purchased tickets via DVC Member Services.
    • I used 407-566-3800 - assume the 800 number works, as well.
  • If you RENTED DVC Points - best not to call the DVC Numbers - you will be required to provide the account number and other information that you likely don't have. You're better off tackling this with just your reservation number where the DVC owner info isn't needed via 407-939-4240.
That sound about right??

My notation is that I am an associate member - so my hubby has a blue card but I dont have ANY card and I was told I needed to have him on the phone with me to buy.

This doesn't apply to anyone who has the resale card or rented pts and can book thru their ressie number on a non DVC phone line.

Hookay, got my tickets. As previously mentioned, I used the Spanish DVC Member Services line (I'm a member and have a res made on points). The wait on hold was about 45 mins. The CM answered in Spanish, but she was very nice and able to switch to English no problem. I do feel kind of guilty using this method, but after a few hours of getting through to the regular line, entering my member info, and then being told by the recording to call back, I was getting desperate. She gave me my confirmation # and mentioned that they're asking people to wait about an hour before trying to link the tickets to MDE.
