Since everyone else is posting pics from their holiday travels, I thought I would post some of mine.
Please do, and add more if you think of it.
Otherwise we'll just be yammerin' on about the same old nothing anyway.

Took a drive up to Mt. Saint Helens.
Some quality images.
Appreciate the descriptions as well.

Gorgeous views. I seem to have completely circled this area in my travels without really ever venturing in.
Well, y'all were working under a different agenda in your travles.
Have you gotten into all of the National Parks, or are there a few here and there that are still on the list?

Looks like a nice park. I'm a sucker for waterfalls.
Agreed...
But I'm also a sucker for not having to make a ten mile hike up hill both ways to get to one.
As such, set of falls in the middle of a fairly entertaining downtown area that is overstuffed with entirely too many good places to grab a meal (or dessert... or a beer... ) is more my speed.

I've enjoyed quite a bit of the CCC's handiwork.
I should say you have...

Can't go wrong with historic bridges, either.

Where-abouts in the South'rn of the Carolinas do y'all call home.
I s'pect it's in the Up-State somewhere.

:ROTFL:
That, sir...
That was epic.

There are still a good many to go. I believe there are 63 in total, and I'd have to count how many we've seen but I think we're in the 40's. Some of them are harder to get to than others: American Samoa, Virgin Islands, Isle Royale, Dry Tortugas...

We picked up another 4 in Alaska and I just happen to be posting photos...(shameless plug alert)

As always...it depends on the waterfall. Sometimes the payoff is worth the work it takes to get there.

Sometimes, it's 95 degrees and there are lots of mosquitoes and you just walked 8 miles to see trees.

I can't help myself.

morning folks

Otherwise we'll just be yammerin' on about the same old nothing anyway.
Nothing?? Nothing?????

I take great umbridge at this remark! Our conversations are about nothing??? Nothing???? Our conversations revolve about weighty topics of the utmost importance... well, of some importance... slight significance...

Yeah, okay. Ya got me on that one.

Really! I am very surprised to hear that you have National parks... outside of the 50 States.

Guess I'm a DisDad. We spend a lot of time at WDW because we live only 88 mile away from my door to the Arch. WDWAP so we go alot.

DisDad #878 who hoo.

88 miles which direction? I live in East East East Orlando(or I could say west Titusville if there were such an animal).

Been about a week since stopping buy. Took advantage of an extended weekend to head to Chicago with DW to take in a couple of Cubs games at Wrigley and catch up with some old friends. Looks like all are safe from the storms of last week, had some down time and took some nice trips. Bacon, Bourbon, cigars and Mickey Bars!

Ahhhh... "Out West"
Well, welcome again.

I did a sizable stretch of my youth in Rock Hill, but have been on the north bank of the river for the last thirty-ish.
Never graduated form anything other then OJT, but I made sure my young'en did.
Still payin' for that choice, but that's a different yarn. :sad2:

You're way ahead of me, to be sure, though we have done VI
And actually, Fort Jefferson is currently on my radar as well (especially as it would require getting myself on a the water)

Was about to ask you for a link, but It wasn't that hade to find.
Might wat to post one up here for those that are even lazier than myself.

A circuitous route from zip to nada...
but the trip was right entertaining.

Territories...
We don't allow them any representation, but we're quite happy to partake of their resources.

Welcome sir.
Grab a lawn chair, and kick the beer cans out of the way.
We're glade to have you on board.

Chance to meet up with a bunch of the guys in January.
Ten years?
I'd have been down there at least once, if it wasn't in January.
Overlords don't allow travel during year-end closing.

I missed where you moved over that way.
I lived in Titusville for a spell (a very long time ago).
Still have relatives there.
