I just saw the 25% discount on Apple through chase rewards. Was thinking about the battery pack and mag case for my iPhone. Do you think it’s a good deal getting it there?
also saw on Amex rewards that they will rebate half of Walmart plus membership. Thinking of getting it and trying to buy the playstation 5 through them tomorrow, says Walmart plus members have earlier acesss to buy one.
Anyone else get the Walmart plus? Is it worthwhile? I was wondering if it might be better than amazon prime.

Of course with another Chase offer for 10% at CVS burning a hole in my pocket (and a store in walking distance), CVS has some of the worst GC offers for the week.

The chase offer terms on my account says it doesn’t work on gift cards, are you saying that’s untrue?

I've been really surprised at how much I love using Walmart plus. I'm not sure I would actually pay for it (I get it free through my Amex Plat card), but I love the no minimum $ required for free shipping. My Walmart is far from me and always crowded so I rarely shop there, but now with Walmart plus I'm buying a lot on the whim. Just the other day, I ordered safety pins for $2.99 and it made it next day!

If you have other uses for it other than the Playstation it might be worth it. If you're only getting the membership for early access, it's such a hot item that I'm not sure it would be worth it alone. Good luck!

It does say that, but there seems to be no issue in using the offer (or similar offers from other retailers) to buy gift cards.

They do not issue new gift cards, it goes back on the original ones. Assuming you combines them all onto one gift card on the disney gift card site, it will go back on that gift card. You can always transfer it to a new gift card if you don't feel comfortable keeping it on that one

It all depends how much your chase points are worth. Depending on what type of Chase card you have.

For example, I had 800,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points which I had saved up over the last 8 years. Everyone says you shouldn't save up points but boy was I lucky I did. When Chase announced Pay yourself Back last year, I quickly signed up for the Sapphire Reserve and bought $12,000 worth of visa gift cards at Walmart Supercenters and paid myself back. I ended up getting a value of almost 1.44 cents per point.

But I do have a few items 'sold and shipped by Walmart' in my cart, but it want to charge me 5.99 for shipping because I'm under $35, have you seen that before?

I looked and I’m not eligible for the free delivery either. I checked and Disney is though so it could be useful for next trip. I assumed if work for free delivery for non grocery items to my home but I really have no idea.

They do not issue new gift cards, it goes back on the original ones. Assuming you combines them all onto one gift card on the disney gift card site, it will go back on that gift card. You can always transfer it to a new gift card if you don't feel comfortable keeping it on that one

They will issue new gift cards if you don't have the originals, but it does take longer for the refund.

No, I don't usually order groceries as my local Walmart sells only a limited amount of food items. It's not a supercenter. I've been using it for a couple months now and have never been asked to order a minimum $ amount. Most recently, I only ordered 1 pack of safety pins. Before that I've ordered some Halloween decorations and school supplies for my kids. Usually never even close to $25-$35.

Unfortunately they've done that for years with free GCs. It's in the terms of of the 5% program -
"5% discount applies to eligible purchases minus any other discounts and the value of any promotional Target gift cards received in the transaction."

Thanks for pointing that out. I've done the Target Apple GC deals before and I swear it took the 5% off but my memory could totally been thinking of something else. I agree...still stinks!
