Aerial Photos Reveal New Construction at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land​

Aerial photos posted by bioreconstruct reveal new construction underway at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. Just over three years old now, Disney is righting some wrongs when it comes to dining in Toy Story Land. A new table-service restaurant will debut later this year, adding some much-needed dining capacity to the land along with some whimsy. However, the original dining establishment – Woody’s Lunch Box – is also receiving some work as Disney looks to expand the seating area.
Earlier this year, Disney started construction at Woody’s Lunch Box as they looked to expand the seating area and add some cover to the outdoor quick service location. Theming was quickly added to the construction before it stalled. Now 10+ months into the project, it looks like crews are focusing their attention to a backstage area behind Woody’s Lunch Box, perhaps in support of additional theming or further seating expansion. Here’s an aerial view of the work!


A closer look at the work taking place. The building is shared by Woody’s Lunch Box and the Toy Story Land restrooms, but it’s unlikely that the work taking place backstage is related to the restrooms.

Better late than never! It's nice to see that the QS is getting expanded, a TS is being built, and a true store was opened. Poor TSL cuts.

I can't wait to see all the enhancements we get to Epcot 3 years after construction is "finished" to right some wrongs

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who directed multiple episodes of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Ms. Marvel will direct a new Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm, Deadline is reporting.

I got one for December 17th. Disney charged my CC already, some people got charged and some didn't, not sure what to think about that.

At 7am they dropped up to November 24th, then at 7:40am they dropped the rest of the dates.


Edited - the charge for Akershus dropped off last night. I guess Disney IT figured it out.

runDisney Announces Merchandise Virtual Queue for 2022 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend

runDisney has announced that it will use a virtual queue for merchandise during the 2022 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

A few additional things to note:

• Gold and Platinum Club runDisney Members do not need to join the virtual queue to access their early shopping windows during the first day of the Expo.
• Guests can join the virtual queue from the comfort of their hotel room or home, within approximately 45 miles away from Walt Disney World property.
• Each Guest enrolled will receive a QR code to present for entry.
• The virtual queue is required for the runDisney Merchandise Shop on Thursday, November 3. Standby lines will not be available this day and all Guests must use the virtual queue to enter.
• Guests may hold boarding groups for both an attraction virtual queue and a virtual queue for other applicable experiences, like runDisney Merchandise Shop.
• Merchandise is subject to availability and inventory may sell out.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Currently Closed in Magic Kingdom

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is CLOSED in Magic Kingdom! Cast Members shared that it was due to “maintenance issues” and didn’t say exactly how long the ride would be down, but they did mention being “unsure” if it would reopen today.

Holiday sleigh rides return to Disney’s Fort Wilderness on December 1st, and are available to book. Here are the details:

Your Sleigh Awaits​

Get in the spirit of the season as you travel along scenic trails aboard a merry sleigh.

Schedule & Pricing
You’ll board your sleigh for a 25-minute ride at the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn near the Settlement Bus Depot at The Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Sleighs fit up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 small children.

Please allow for one hour of transportation time, as Guests will be required to park at the main entrance of Fort Wilderness and take a bus to the Settlement Bus Depot.

Each Holiday Sleigh Ride costs $75.
