Do you enjoy them? We think they are terrible.Yes. Prosecco, chocolate truffles, or the fruit basket as of a few weeks ago. I always choose the chocolate.

The chocolates used to be passable, but they had been changed when we sailed the Magic (b2b2b) last September. Not worth requesting In our opinion. DW doesn’t drink alcohol, so the Prosecco is only worthwhile if I can get it sent to our dining team to serve in the MDR. We then share with tablemates or adjacent diners. You can get as much fruit as you like in Cabanas/Marceline Market, so never request that.Do you enjoy them? We think they are terrible.
That was my experience on the Wish. There was no effort to initiate the process. Other than the free meal at Palo there is no acknowledgement by any of the staff for loyalty. The chocolates used to be passable, but they had been changed when we sailed the Magic (b2b2b) last September. On a b2b on the Wish in January, we were never offered any of the platinum choices; no letter, no information from room host, no call from room service. On all 15+ prior cruises (all on other DCL ships, of course, 4 post-Covid) since we became platinum, they were always proactive in offering these. When I asked at Guest Services, they told me I needed to call room service to initiate the process. We didn’t waste our time either cruise. Perhaps one more way they are saving money.
Is the chocolate packaged so that you can take it home, or do you have to eat it onboard?Yes. Prosecco, chocolate truffles, or the fruit basket as of a few weeks ago. I always choose the chocolate.
I’ve gotten the truffles a few times. It came in a nice box. I took it home and gave it away. We usually get the wine now.Is the chocolate packaged so that you can take it home, or do you have to eat it onboard?
We were on Fantasy in January and did get the bottle of wine.Hi
about the either sparkling Prosecco , chocolate ..or fruit
never received or was offered it 2 weeks ago I wonder if it’s still offered
They aren't great. I tend to be a late-night snacker, so they do the job. I am doing a B2B2B, so I think I will try all three and probably give the prosecco away.Do you enjoy them? We think they are terrible.

They need to take Pearl seriously if they want to entice anyone to ever reach that status. Here is a few ideas I have for it what do you think:
- Special Pin with your name on it. Be proud of your status.
- Special character meet and greet
- Free Remy
- Free special pearl drink at castaway cay in a pearl shaped drinking container
- free saved seat at shows for pearl members
- free popcorn at shows
- “Pearl Lounge” where small snacks and drinks are served for an hour on DCL.

I will be Pearl and really only want that number 1 or 2 boarding number!!!
I love when people try to tell other people what to talk about! This comes up way too often. Disney isn't going to change the system any time soon. So, instead of arguing about how it "should" be (and many of us here disagree), let's instead talk about the actual news of Pearl tier starting. Hopefully, we get more details soon!
Oh, whatever. I just don't see the point in having the same argument with the same people again. This comes up all the time here and the for/against folks always say the same things. It's boring. We don't need to clutter up another thread with it. This thread is supposed to be about the new Pearl tier, not about how DCL should structure its overall loyalty program.I love when people try to tell other people what to talk about!
"Supposed to be" -- I'm not sure why any one person (especially non moderator) gets to decide what a thread should or shouldn't discussOh, whatever. I think what Kwami means is that the thread was started so that people can discuss the benefits/perks/gifts of Pearl status. It's not that people aren't allowed to speak up about how Disney structures their loyalty tiers, but it keeps sidetracking the conversation. It has been discussed ad nauseum in the past and it's like beating a dead horse. It's already established and it isn't going to change. What IS new and changing is this added Pearl level."Supposed to be" -- I'm not sure why any one person (especially non moderator) gets to decide what a thread should or shouldn't discuss

Yup, that and a Palo dinner. I’m not a status person and don’t need gifts. Just always so thankful to be on a DCL ship. That’s all you want?
