The pharmacy has been messing with me for well over a year. I’m tired of it! Last month they had to fax my doctor for a refill for two items. I go in and they have one of them ready but claim they had no knowledge of the other. Meanwhile that time I spoke with a human to ask for my refills and explain that the previous two times they tried to give me the wrong drug…I refused both times. Which she said she could see on my profile. One thing that really irks me is all the times they made a mistake if I wanted the correct item I would have to wait for at least 45 minutes. Sorry, I don’t have that kind of time. Maybe I’m wrong but I think they made the mistake they should fix it right then and there. Plus, the guy that does the cash is incredibly rude.

I looked just yesterday at the prices for the Treasure. YIKES! Lowest I think was $5500 USD. I have to assume there won’t be any CM discounts for a looooong while. There actually have been none on any of the ships for the last several months. I think DD said she has seen nothing since April/May. I don’t think we will we going to visit at those prices.

The cost is NUTS. I looked at a ton of dates and landed on Feb. 22, 2025. By then they should be over the bumps and bruises that come with new ships I hope. Looked at both ocean view, which we found was usually best for us, and veranda. We ended up with a veranda simply because I'm not sure how much we will enjoy the rest of the ship and that will give us a place to be outside if needed. It's an extended veranda so I'm hoping they can put out a lounge chair, if one isn't there, so I can relax back with a book. With the two discounts I had it came out to $3677 US which wasn't to bad, it was at least affordable. Had we gone with the ocean view we could have saved about $500 though. And besides, isn't a new tote bag and a towel worth $3677, LOL.

I wouldn't be happy with that sort of service from the pharmacy either. They should be working with the customer to make things easier. Does not sound pleasant.

I notice I have received 100 AMs for 'Flash Offer'. I had two flash offers for 100 so I'm not sure which one it refers to. Anyone have any thoughts? My two were spend $10 at Metro and spend any amount at Amazon.

I got the same 100 AMs and so did my daughter. The only one she has participated in was the spend $10 get 100 ams at Metro last week, so that must be it.

I have a couple of offers from before that, that I am still waiting on. There was a 100 AM Dollarama one around Oct. 4 that hasn't posted yet and a 400 AM airmilesshop from Oct. 13 that hasn't come through either.

This is a two page fill out for government.

Filling prescriptions

Taking Dr. call re prescriptions

Giving Flu shots

Giving Covid shots

Giving RSV shots

Dealing with Insurance companies.

Recommending non prescription products

Taking patient calls

Cashing people out

This winter sure is going to be a challenge for them.
Just not enough hands to go around.

My Rexall Pharmacy also has a Dr Clinic attached and last weekend no receptionist turned up....15 people waiting and waiting, some there for hours,,, many just left.
Many previous walk In Clinics in my area are now no longer taking Walk In patients. They are switching over to Private clinics,, you have to have a Dr. there who has accepted you as a patient.

That's a great price. I would be really happy with that. DH and I recently had a talk about what we are doing with vacation (fall trip is now off the table...his co workers suck!) He said lets just do something 'more expensive' in the winter...he actually said that, he thinks that would somehow make me happy about missing a trip right now. Little does he know I'm going to figure out a way to get myself inside MK on my birthday! Anyway, in our talk we talked about the last cruise and taking another one. He said no and that he really didn't like it but will go again to visit DD if he has to. He said he would prefer to just go to an all inclusive and sit on the beach. I will admit that the cruise was exhausting but I think that was because we were on DD's schedule. Everyday she would tell us we had to be somewhere to see her work and it was like every 2-3 hours. Some days she would ask us to order room service into our room for her and her friends for 6am breakfast or late night room service after they finished working. We only made it up to Satellite Falls once for a couple hours but never got in the pool. There was one other time we sat out on the deck for an hour with a cocktail. The only thing that was somewhat relaxing was the Hey Howdy breakfast. We weren't booked until 10am and we got to sit there watching until the very end. That however, was one of the 6am room service mornings. Heaven help me...can only imagine how busy a week on the Treasure would be. Her job will be different but she will want to go to all the bars and places she can only go with us.

A year ago I had given up hope that I'd ever be able to save enough Airmiles to do another hotel stay. I am starting to get hopeful now and really hope BMO & Airmiles continue to offer good deals.
Do you think Dollarama with continue as a Partner after Nov 6th?

I don't know what one it is but we didn't shop at Walmart or Amazon on my Mom's account and she got the 100 miles and we did shop at Metro.

I no longer have the insight that I used to have with BMO however if I were to take a guess using past history with them, I would say this will likely continue at least for a while. I can see them easily extending the partnership. It seems to have been a win/win for both sides. I could change to make Dollarama a regular AM shop and leave the Cardlink offer behind but I don't think that will happen YET.
I think I have mentioned that BMO used to give AMs away like candy to not only maintain clients but to get new clients as well. It worked like a charm. It stopped when the cost of an AM became counter productive. Now that they own AMs they will still have to 'pay' for the AMs but it will be at a discounted rate. Right now they are tossing them out to expand MC and if it's working, which I think it will, they will continue good offers for a while to keep the base they are gaining.
Again, just my guess, but I think it's a good one. Maybe I'll eat my words in a few weeks, lol.

I've seen a couple of friends posting that they have snow in their areas. I have had grey sky and rain all day. It's only 6 degrees right now so I finally gave in and turned the furnace on today. Even with a hoodie on I was cold. Mondays are my work from home day and being chilly just sucked all my motivation away. As it turns out I'm waiting for the minutes of a meeting from this morning so that I can finish up scheduling for this week. Too Bad, so sad, can't finish my work.... so I grabbed a blanket and a cup of tea. It's outbreak season for us so a lot gets left to the last minute for me anyway.

I sent an email on Friday and again this morning trying to chase it down and haven't received an answer yet I'm waiting to go into a doctor's appointment and then I need to stop on my way home to pick up treats for the girls so by the time I'm able to reach out again they'll be closed!

I will see your frustration and raise you......just found out mandatory masks are back at work effective Wednesday. However, it's only staff, not visitors. I knew this was coming but it should be everyone not just staff. Any bets on how many months this will last? I will say 6 minimum.

I just checked my Airmiles account and am sitting at 4900 for the year. The amazing thing is that exactly HALF of that has been collected in the past 31 days.
