It all comes to the same end though right? whether it's 6 months or 3 months. If everyone is on the same footing (not like FP+) then the mad rush is the same.I think the best case scenario (in my opinion) would be to still do ADRs (although maybe not 6 months out),
Jes doesn't know right now. When's Jes coming back to Disney?

Personally, we only had 1 ADR for my first and only visit, and when I tried to make ARD's during the stay (say, for that night) it was hard (but not having an international phone number made making ADR's in the MDE app harder)
Oh no, it was on purpose! Ally (my dreams agent) offered many times, but didn't want Leigh to feel like we were on a schedule.Use Dreams Unlimited! My travel agent made all my reservations for me so that I didn't have to do any international calling. She didn't even complain when I changed my mind on locations and times 3 times.
I'm a planner so I like ADRs, but I would be okay if they were gone too since it would mean a bit of flexibility on the day if we change our mind about which park to go to.

He knows better now. Lol
I don't know that anything would change other than the time of the rush.....but it would still be a "mad rush".........oh yeah and that rush is going to happen "during" your vacation . I like the ADR system as it is, maybe I'm in the minority but going to first come first serve doesn't fix anything in my mind. On the podcast today they spoke of how Skipper's Canteen is not taking ADR's right now...............we ate there during Marathon week and only waited about 15 min (btw it was really good ). But I believe that was related to it being new and sort of unknown. It all comes to the same end though right? whether it's 6 months or 3 months. Many of the CS meals are actually very tasty & a bit unique for a theme park. I don't eat WDW hamburgers & hot dogs because I can get those anywhere in North America. Some fun & yummy CS venues:With the dollar the way it is, I fear we wont be able to afford as many table service meals this time around, and I think I'd get sick of the same old burgers over and over

Epcot: Tangierine Cafe, Sunshine Seasons, Cantina de San Angel, Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
MK: Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bills (new menu)
HS: food here is difficult but Starring Rolls OK (I'd get an ADR for Sci-Fi and pay OOP) if I didn't want to take the time to go to the Boardwalk
AK: Flametree BBQ & Harambe Market
At the resorts, some ADR options that are more reasonable & have some atmosphere: Beaches & Cream, Trails End Buffet and Sanaa.
