We took photos for quite awhile at the Wedding Pavilion. While our wedding planner, Karen, was at the Napa Room coordinating the reception, there was a DFTW rep at the Wedding Pavilion trying her best - to no avail - to get Misty to wrap up.

But, eventually, we did wrap up and as we were loading into the limo Brian and I were asked what we would like to drink when we arrive. I thought that was a nice touch. My cosmopolitan and Brian's Jack Daniels and Diet Coke were waiting for us when we arrived.

Here are photos of some of the menu items that we selected, which was the Healdsburg dinner menu. Yum, yum and yum!!!

During the cocktail hour, our guests were served an assortment of flatbreads. The staff also brought some to Brian and I to try while we were waiting to be announced into the room. They were absolutely delicious!

Our appetizer was the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli with Sun-Dried Tomato Nectar, ****ake Mushrooms and Basil (Ahhhh . . . they censored our appetizer again). It was probably my FAVORITE thing on the menu but, unfortunately, we did not get photos of it.

Some of the other selections included:

Wine Country Salad with Marinated Dried Tomatoes, Olives, Sourdough Croutons and Cabernet-Herb Vinaigrette and Childrens' Dinners

Mango Sorbet

Our menu included three different entrees that were served "family style" to each table. It's great because our guests were able to sample any and all of the selections that they wanted.

Slow-Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Farro Wheat Rosotto and Crustacean Sauce

Sliced Oak-Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Caramelized Onions, and Red Wine Butter Sauce

Oak-Fired Chicken Breast with Semolina Gnocchi, Wilted Arugula and Sauce Vierge

They provided sampler plates of all three entrees for the bride and groom:

Our Wedding Cake:

The flavors were:

BOTTOM: Almond cake with amaretto mousse

MIDDLE: Marble cake with dark chocolate mousse

TOP: Carrot cake with cream cheese icing

We had requested a special dessert . . . a Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar for each of our guests!

The Bouquet Toss:

My mom caught the bouquet. That's not creepy at all, is it?

So, as if my mom catching the bouquet just wasn't strange enough, my son caught the garter. Weird.

Probably the biggest "selling feature" of the Napa Room / California Grill for us was the view of Wishes fireworks.

Of course, this time, we didn't get a chance to watch the fireworks. We were working!
