Behind The Scenes Tours

Is there a thread with details on all available "behind the scene" tours? I have heard about an "Immigration" tour at Men in Black and a "Production" tour at Revenge of the Mummy. Are there more? TIA.

There’s are some past year threads about it but nothing current yet for this year

I enjoy that day tour and book the 6 house set each year

I was wondering if these would be back now that other Covid precaution measures seem to be back to "normal." I would love to take my boys on the Immigration tour at MiB.

There used to be a special behind the scenes tour at King Kong. Ask one of the people working at the ride and if they are not busy, they can give you fun facts about the ride and how it works. I have heard there is something similar at Forbidden Journey, but I have not yet done that behind the scenes tour.

In august we asked at Mummy, MiB, Fallon. We did the Fallon one, MiB said they didn’t know anything about the tour :sad2: (have gotten that a few times from newbies) and Mummy the TM who did it was with a tour, in a break or off shift (all in same day-just bad timing on our part). The Fallon tour is neat thoug-lots of Trivia, you get to see the control rooms, thebalcony, escorted into ride.

After a bit more research, here is what I have found.

USF
Men in Black Alien Attack Immigration Tour
Revenge of the Mummy Production Tour
Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon VIP Studio Tour

IOA
Skull Island: Reign of Kong Temple Tour
The Incredible Hulk Coaster Gamma Tour
Jurassic Park Discovery Center Nursery Tour

City Walk
Hard Rock Cafe VIP Tour

There is some kind of sweet spot you need to hit - days/times when they have extra staff, but not when the ride is extremely busy.

We did the tour at the Twister ride and it was cool. They took you up to the control booth and explained a lot about the show, building, and effects. Then we watched the show from the control booth and when the show was over, we watched all the effects reset.

We've tried maybe a half dozen times at each MIB and Mummy and haven't hit it at the right time. Once, for Mummy, the TM at the front said she couldn't give the tour and said she would see if she could find someone. We followed her through some TM areas and took an elevator up to the load platform. She had us wait there and she went to look for someone. After about 5 minutes, she came back and said they were too busy to have someone give the tour, but she'd get us on the ride.

She walked us to the loader and we got on the next car.
