Happy Tuesday. So, the boss sent me an email asking for a timeline of a project completion. I'm thinking the day after I retire sounds good.
In all seriousness though, we went to the Boardwalk to check it out. We really wanted to like it, but just didn't feel the vibe. It's strange how different resorts in WDW have a completely different atmosphere. I guess that's why we all go back.
And how the resorts appeal differently to each of us. Outside of the points cheapness, I like the Boardwalk because of the theming and walking distance to the two parks. Some complain about the long hallway walks, but I like being inside the one building. I prefer that to the resort style at Poly where you walk to the different buildings. While I've yet to stay at Grand Floridean, my favorite so far is Bay Lake Tower. I'm not sure any resort is a bad place to be.
I know several dad's have gone keto. My wife decided we need to do it. I've been working on some recepies but would love to hear what y'all have come up with. I got this one from my brother.
Take avacado, peel it and remove seed, replace seed with ball of cheese and reclose avacado. Wrap avacado with ground meat then wrap with bacon. Put on BBQ pit and smoke for 2-3 hrs.

Keto here. I found that just good old cooking is better than recipes. I went up for the better cut of steak (strip loin), season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, sear both sides in olive oil in cast iron skillet, and finish it in the broiler with butter.
For chicken, I really enjoy nashville hot seasoning. So, I'll cube and pan fry boneless chicken thighs (or breasts) in butter, remove from pan, toss in Nashville hot, and serve over a salad of romaine lettuce, fresh squeeze lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and ranch.
Pork tenderloin, salmon, shrimp, burgers, and hot dogs are some other regulars. Guy Fieri used the phrase "season with authority", and that's what I've tried doing. I'm only eating once a day now, and if hungry, snack on eggs, bacon, pickle, cheese.
Dentist we see say they still can't get any personal protective equipment. Frustrating. DS, DD and I are all overdue for cleanings and repair work.
Mine are covered to the tee, and they think it's ridiculous too. They already used sanitary practices, now they are using double sanitary practices. And, these double sanitary practices are brought to you by the same government that says indoor movie theatres are safe but public tennis courts and campgrounds are banned as lethal COVID hazards.
Ouch...
I have an appointment to see mine tomorrow - new protocols and all. Hopefully, they wont find anything wrong beyond the cleaning.
Mmmmm... Beignets...
Good thing I don't have access to any of those right now.
And Bourbon.
Which I suppose by definition, would be happiness.
I have a good dentist. I have a cracked tooth and another chipped tooth that he points out, but as they don't cause pain or problems, he leaves alone until he thinks there is a problem. He only works 4 days a week, and isn't in the practice of trying to gouge you.
Bourbon and beignets sound terrific, although I've not have that combination. I'm willing to give it a chance.
