Dear Disign thread visitors.
The designers on the Disboard are a busy bunch of people.
We love designing and making other people happy, spreading pixie dust and making trips special by adding a little bit of magic to your vacations.
What you might not know is that there is a lot of time and effort put into the designs.
If we do not have something you request, we go out of our way to come up with something special for you and a lot of times we even create new things because they were requested.
We really do not want to let anyone down and we work hard, sometimes even too hard, to please as many people as we can.
It is a lot of work and we do not get paid so we do this from the kindness of our hearts, without expecting anything in return.
We spend hours upon hours a day and never really get caught up with the requests because once we have them finished, we will have more and new requests waiting for us.
However…..
We have noticed recently that there are a few people who decide to request the same design from more than one designer.
On top of the boards, on the design tips thread, this message is posted:
Please do not request the same design from multiple designers – they have a lot of requests and do not want to be duplicating each other’s work – in addition – it can take a while to design a custom shirt and asking two people to design a shirt and only choosing one is wasting the other designers time.
Please consider this as you continue to ask the fellow designers to design this same design over and over again.
If you want to request a specially made design , please request from one designer and one designer only. You are free to request more designs and even from more designers, but please DO NOT ask more designers to make you something that is pretty much simular, and choose the one you like best!
By asking more designers to create the same thing for you, you are taking time away which could be spent on filling requests and making more people happy!!
Also, you can sometimes choose only one design to wear which will mean, the other designer's work will not be used, which really is a shame since so much time and effort has gone into the design.
most of this is not directed at the majority of dis'ers but there have been a few who have abused the issue of asking multiple designers for the same design.
We as designers do not ask much in return, just a little respect!
If you have requested items and they are posted, Please let the designer know you have picked your designs up by posting a simple message or a thank you.
We do not think this is a lot to ask for, we hope you understand why we post this message
Please continue to request from the designers since we really do love designing!! We know we can not please everyone but we try our best.
Last but not least we want to tell you we really appreciate all of you who thank us sincerely, who take the time to post pictures of their smiling family or children, who post kind words and let us know we are appreciated, you all make us love what we do most even more and inspire us to create even more beautiful designs for you.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The fact that you volunteer your time just to make a little extra pixie dust for the vacations of total strangers is amazing. I promise I will use any design that I specifically ask for. Now if I can just keep myself from asking for everything!
I just don't think I would have the nerve to do that. In my opinion, it is very inconsiderate. 
I have been guilty of requesting from more than one DISigner, on one occasion that I can remember. I hope that is all. I do appreciate the work you all do, because I've tried myself and I don't have the patience for it. Please forgive me and keep up the good work!
