Disney and Non A-Z Rolodex swaps. see update last page

:wave2: I'm back.

Hope -- great work!

My Z for Zurg piece is very similar to your Wall-E piece:sad2: It is already completely cut with the planet assembled. Hopefully, once it is complete, it won't look too similar.

I used the planet from Everyday paper dolls, but I like your planet better. Where is it from?

I was just thinking of you today, Susan! How was the trip?

It is one the dies from the Cuttlekids. It came with an Alien, Spaceship, and I forget the 4th one.

Thanks! I was thinking I may do a search for the Z target from the Buzz Lightyear ride. That will eliminate the similarity. Anyone know where to find this image?

Excellent! Weather was hot, but only one evening with some rain. My youngest was tall enough to ride the 40" rides and loved them (except for ToT which he bailed from line) and we got to open Toontown! So exciting - -I thought the CM meant we would do a countdown and drop the rope. Nope! He took my family into Toontown before it opened. Mickey was waiting for us outside his house. My kids ran down the street to meet him just like a commercial. There was a photopass photograher snapping away. Mickey took us into his house for a tour and then we went into the tent for posed photos with Mickey & Minnie. Afterwards, the boys went to the barnstormer while the CM escorted DD and I in through the back entrance to have a private meet with the fairies (Tink and Rosetta) It was a really magical experience!

What a great day for you guys!!! I bet that was such a great experience.

Wow Susan!!! What a way to start a day. Lots of pics to scrap with that story I bet!! They could not have picked a better family. :goodvibes

Oops, check-in was September 4th and I'm late!!! I've been thinking about what to do for my groups, but I haven't started yet. I'm doing the last couple of letters in the Character swap and then this swap is next. I'll have them done and mailed on time.:goodvibes

Oops, sorry I missed the check in too! I have my main supplies ready, but haven't started. I need to finish up the Paper Piecing first.

I missed it too I think.

I haven't started yet. I have everything I need though.

I have thought about my designs but haven't started on them- I need to download my craftrobo program again while at Disney (we don't get enough bandwith here at the house and DH wiped it out when he rebuilt my computer).

Oh, Susan! What an amazing way to start the day! How fun for all of you!

I haven't started on this either...I'm thinking...

Sorry - missed a check in!! :confused3

I have most cut...and will assemble probably when I get back from Disney on the 21st. They will go out on time no problem!!!

I missed check-in, too. I have the N done, but am still trying to decide on the O. My theme is O'hana, but there isn't must out there in the form of embellishments (at least relating to Lilo and Stitch.) I'm thinking of ways to improvise. Have one idea but am still thinking.

I have Bullseye finished. Everything is cut for the other letters. Still looking for a good image of the target from the buzz lightyear ride though.

I ordered Lilo and Stitch dimensional stickers from JoAnns website. I used them on my 2 inch letters for the character swap--see the slideshow-- Anyhow you get lots of stickers on a sheet and JoAnns always has a sale...maybe they would work. I'm pretty sure they'd be a good size. You could do a palm leaf with the letter "O" on it for the tab. Maybe work in the word "o'hana" somewhere on the card with the sticker. Just an idea for ya.:)

Thanks Traci. I was thinking about working in the word o'hana. Bought some island style paper to use for the lettering (I'm getting the hang of using my cricut).
