my husband may kill me but i want to do this for myself.. wonder how big the dresses come.. im pretty short and may be able to squeeze into a dress lol lol... only for picture purposes though not sure if i'd walk around Disneyland like that lol...
I'm going to do BBB in a week and a half when I get there. I'm really looking forward to it!!
Has any women gone there with short hair? Just wondering what they might do hairstyle wise. I don't have enough hair to do a bun. I don't think a princess would look very regal in the "cool dude" look.
I'm definitely getting some sort of tiara, whether it comes with the hairstyle or not.
The FGiT are VERY good with hair......DD13 has very thick hair, she has some in the back that breaks all the time because it's so thick and heavy, we were worried but they used so much gel that the short pieces (and she has quite a few of them) stayed up all day.......they will just use loads of gel and bobby pins to keep your hair up.
I have no doubt they can do something, they really are amazing. I hope you truly feel like a Princess for the day!
Thanks for the response! Glad to hear you had such a positive experience.
Unfortunately, due to my disease, I started to lose a lot of my hair so it's pretty short (hopefully some day I'll be able to grow it out again!). It's very close to this:
So hopefully they'll be able to do something cute... I need to feel like a princess for the day.
Well I assume they are just like the ones at WDW. they are not stylist, but braidest, basically. (CA laws maybe different) but they can onbly do 1 of the 3 hairstyles and they aren't allowed to vary from them. I'm nost sure what they can do with hair that short, but all styles require it being pulled back to start in a ponytail and/or braid. They use that pony/braid as part of securing thins in the style. You may want to ask at the desk right away if or what they can do. It may be jsut putting a tiara on top of your head, and for that amount of money you can do that yourself. I jsut want you to be prepared, so you don'e spend alot of money on nothing.
The punk type gelled up style may me cool though too. I hear that gel is really goey and takes quite awhile to dry though. But with a Tiara that could be cool!
Thanks! That's kind of what I was afraid of... On the other hand, I was reading Bumbershoot's post about the Cool Dude and thinking, with a tiara, that might not be so bad... I can be the punk rock princess! But I will ask them when I get there on Sunday, that way I can cancel before Wednesday if need be. There's absolutely no way they will be able to braid or do a ponytail. Just not possible. I guess we'll find out what they will/won't come up with.
I'm thinking a good spiky gelled up style done in pink or purple or a combination of the two with pixie dust along with a tiara would be pretty dang cool!
I think that would be GREAT! Try to not let them use *too* much gel, they really loaded Eamon up, and his hair was drooping after awhile. Or if you have any really good "freezing" gel that could get the hair to stand up, maybe see if they'll use that, then add the color on top of it (which is what they did with E).
Then yeah, throw a tiara on it, awesome! Wish I could be there to see it!
Oh I love that idea, I think you would look super cute with the cool dude spiky look and a tiara!! Very neat!! Your hair is shorter then my DD's but stay optimistic, you might be surprised at what they can do. I hope you'll share photos with us.
