Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I love the decor of BC rooms. The blues are so pretty! However the views from BC are not the best.

Food: for breakfast I find most are pretty similar. Slight edge to gf because of waffles.

Midday I pick gf. The soups are so good! There is enough there for a light lunch.

Evening I would prefer the food at bc. Just a personal pref.

Desserts: gf just has so many options so I give that the nod

Now for ambiance the BC just doesn't do it for me. It feels like a std hotel. GF sl and rpc are more pretty.

I only did bc once and gf close to 10. I would pick gf for location and lounge experience with good food over bc unless a good deal or I needed to be near BW area.

Thats me , Im a mono girl. Lots of other love the boardwalk area better.
Good review. The GF is the flagship hotel, no doubt. However, we're Epcot people more than MK and I think the BC lags behind the YC and BWI.

We just returned from GF SL and I agree that the staff has not been as outgoing, friendly or engaging as in years past. Simple hellos, smiles, and small talk does go a long way to making you/family feel welcomed like no other place can. SL GF concierge staff appeared busy all week during our trip doing a lot of admin tasks, at the expense of being attentive to the lobby / guests. In the past few years we've stayed at GF SL, we would be able to make / change hard-to-get dining reservations or fast passes, and all "asks" during our trip were looked into but met with a sorry it is unavailable. We also used to get an extra anytime fast pass occasionally, and it seems the staff are no longer allowed with the new option to buy add'l CL fast passes, which we are not doing. I'm sorry but for an extra $100 - 200 a night, spending more money for rides seems crazy. What do y'all use CL concierge service for common requests? And where is the in-room towel characters??? C'mon Disney, the little things keeps us coming back.

I completely agree about most of the staff. There were 3 in particular who never even Smiled!!!!! It was disturbing!! They looked miserable and unhappy to be at work. It was the complete opposite from the GF RPC staff we encountered back in 2017. They were SO outgoing, always struck up a conversation with our family and always seemed so happy to see us! There were a handful that were great, though; I wish I took notice of their names. I’m sorry you did not receive any towel animals. Our Mousekeeper was fantastic and was very creative back in July. I’m sorry you were disappointed. I hope you have a better stay next trip.

I've been posting a few pictures on the Coronado thread about the offerings of the Chronos Club, and I was thinking maybe it would be of some interest to those who follow this thread as well. Sorry for the cross-posts if you've been following along!

There are four different options on rotation, based on the day of week. My own favorite is Webnesday, stay tuned as it will complete this series of posts.

So, here is the first one, that is served on Thursdays and Sundays. The shrimp paella-style is good, though we've noticed guest tend to pick the shrimps and let the paella. The “crab” plant-based cakes are very good, in fact I just noticed they were plant-based by taking extra care into reading the sign.

Here is the second offering, available Mondays and Fridays. Definitely our least favorite, I liked the mushroom pasta but that's all about it.

Continuing here with the offerings of the Chronos Club. This is what you get on Saturdays and Tuesdays.

The blended-based burgers slide are a bit dry, but hopefully there is mayonnaise, mustard and some chili sauce, as well as oignons that makes a perfect mix. The meatballs are quite good, be sure to grab some of the sauce!

Thanks for posting these!! We were thinking of staying here for the first couple days to start off our summer trip, but the food looks a little too ‘Healthy’ for my taste 😕 Would love to still try it out, but not sure if I’d be able to make it on just wine, bread and candy. Or could I? 😏

Finishing here this series of post about the appetizers found at the CL of the Gran Destino Tower. This one is special, as it served only on Wednesdays. To my taste, it's also the best. If I have a trip at GDT CL that includes a Wednesday, no way you are seeing me outside of the lounge between 5-7pm.

The lamb comes from the Three Bridges Bar and Grill, and is a $21 entrée. I wouldn't recommend enough to try it. By far the best meal I've had at CSR.

We happen to have a scale in our room and I can assure you we've not been losing weight since we've checked in. :rotfl2:

You can definitely turn the appetizers into a full meal if you so desire. Plus, the wine comes from Spain!

I love you.

Too far? 😂

Thanks again for sharing.

I’m just a terribly picky eater and honestly would not eat anything there. I’m the adult you see getting food off the ‘kids table’😂

Thanks again for the pics! Is the dessert always the same? Are any cocktails available yet- or just beer and wine?

Do any of you know if there is such a thing as a one day memory maker? We are just doing MVMCP during a short trip, so no need for the “normal” memory maker on this one.

There definitely is. There's a way to buy it after your trip- it was a little hard to find on the website, but the memory maker thread helped me out.

Thanks, I’ll have to check out that thread. I wonder if signature services would be able to get me information on it as well???

And where is the in-room towel characters???

It seems to be hit or miss with towel animals. Last year when we stayed BWI CL we received one or two towel animals over a 5 day stay. When we stayed Poly CL in Oct, we had 2-3 towel animals daily, over a 6 day stay. No towel animals on our YC CL stay this past June.
