I got up not too early on Tuesday, and lounged around in bed for a while. I finally decided to get up and get moving. We were planning on doing the spa today. Not everyone was going though. Cheryl, Marcie and I were the only ones.

After we hit Del Taco on the way home the night before, we decided to plan to head out around 10ish. That should give us plenty of time to hang out, use the facilities on site, and get massages.

The one challenge we had was for me to remember exactly where it was. I didn't have the address, or the business card on hand. So I was going by memory only. Lucky for me, I had a good idea where it was at. We were able to find it and get in quickly. It was already burning up outside.

We were bummed to learn that they were getting ready for an inspection and that the whirlpools were closed. Everything else was opened though. We decided to stay and get longer massages instead. We made the arrangements then went and changed. Still lots of nakiness in that spa. Didn't bother us though.

We put our suits and cover ups on then headed upstairs. Before we got there, we were asked to not be so openly dressed in the common areas and to cover up a bit more. No biggie.

The three of us spent time between the jade room, the clay ball room, and the lounge. Lots of the time we spent talking and hanging out relaxing. Finally we were called to our rooms to get our massages.

It was wonderful. I kept falling asleep while Marisol was working on me. She did a fantastic job. I totally plan to request her the next time I go to the spa.

Once we were done with our massages and hanging out, we decided to head back to the condos. On the way hit the drive thru at Burger King. Took crazy long time to get our burgers though. Got back to the rooms, ate and relaxed a bit more.

About now it was getting time to get showered and ready for the evening.

Next up.....Tony and Tina's Wedding.

Going to the chapel of love

All of us were showering, changing, and getting our glam on so we could attend Tony and Tina's Wedding at Planet Hollywood. How nice of them to let all of us join in their special day right? That is what the entire show is about. You are treated as one of the guests at the wedding. You sit with the performers and actually participate in the show. The wedding and reception are held right in the room.

We got there early and waited in line to make sure we got good seats. We were lucky enough be seated at the table with the father of the groom and his girlfriend as well as the priest.

The food was very yummy. It was an Italian buffet. They had two types of salad, lasagna, pasta primavera, chicken parmigania, and breadsticks.

The reception part of the show was really fun. We had a chance to dance and interact with everyone. The father of the groom grabbed my hand and dragged me onto the dance floor first. But it was fun.

Once we were seated, we had time to chat and get drinks from the bar. Shortly after, the announcements were made and the bridal party started entering the room. Then the ceremony was held. It was short and sweet. That was followed by the reception with a live bad. The band was somewhat of a Bon Jovi cover band. I enjoyed them. They also did the traditonal wedding stuff such as the chicken dance, YMCA, the conga line, tossing the bouquet and garter. The tables were released to go to the buffet one at a time. Then, cake was cut and served to everyone. The evening ended with the bride and groom heading off to their honeymoon.

Overall the show was great, we had a lot of fun and would totally do it again. The performers were amazing. They really stay in character and do a great job of getting everyone up and involved.

Next up.....bitten by the Scorpion.

Great update! I adore Tony and Tina!! Their wedding was a hoot. I had so much fun that night. I have a few pics from that night to share as well, but I will have to do it tomorrow. Off to bed now.

Thanks for the addition of the other pics. I knew there were some others, but I didn't have them.

Actually, if I recall correctly, you and I were deemed "decent" by the spa owner--but Marcie had to put on the dreaded pink sweatsuit. (I'm sure the spa owner was afraid that Marcie would drive the men wild--me, not so much.)

That priest was sooooo cute. I was totally thinking "Thornbirds." Except that I wouldn't want him to be gay like Richard Chamberlain.

That's one of my most vivid memories--just what is Deb talking to the brother about?????

After Tony and Tina's wedding we all made our way down to the casino at Planet Hollywood. Lots of disscussion was going on as to what to do next and where to go. It ended up that we split up and did different things. Cheryl was going to stay at the casino and gamble, Stacie and Deb decided to head back to the room, while Beth, Marcie, Theresa and I went to Fireside at the Peppermill for drinks.

The Fireside at the Peppermill is an old school lounge way down on Las Vegas Blvd. Its actually kinda cool in a cheesy retro way. The place is not that big. Its attached to the restaurant. The room is covered in mirrors and there are tons of trees/plants/shrubs all over the room. The focal point in a sunken area with a open fireplace. If it weren't 108 degrees that night, it would have been great. The cocktail waitresses all wear long black gowns to give it a more tasteful appearance.

Our waitress was super nice. We had wanted to try the drink they call the "Scorpion" but weren't sure how many to order for the four of us. She let us know that it was huge, and we should start with one and go from there. She was right. One was plenty. It was something like 6 shots and juice.

Theresa was bit by the Scorpion eh?

The drink was super yummy. Even Beth liked it.

I had gotten up to use the restroom at one point, and somehow this confused everyone when I returned. Since the room is all covered with mirrors, they thought I was returning from the other side of the room because of my reflection.

We were not totally drama free this evening though. There was a hint of a cat fight brewing. There was a man and a lady sitting by the fire which was in front of us. At one point Marcie went to the side area by us and them to smoke. The guy started talking to Marcie, and the girl he was with looked like she was ready to jump over the rail and fight for her man. Even though it was he who was talking to her. Some people.

One Scorpion was all we could drink. After that is was time to head back to the condo and get some rest. The next day was going to be a busy one for us.

Next up......early lunch at Earl's.

Wednesday morning was a bit of a lazy morning for me getting up out of bed. But I finally did and it wasn't as late as I thought it was. Everyone else was having about the same kind of morning.

We got ready and got out the door and headed on over to Planet Hollywood for the afternoon. We had planned to shop, eat, take our class and hang out. When we first arrived it was apparent that we were hungry so we made a straight shot over to Earl of Sandwich.

Yeah, I
Oh, I'm gonna love you
Oh-oh
Nothing can stop me, now
'Cause I'm the Duke of Earl
So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I had eaten here before, and the one at WDW many times and it has always been good. So I was glad to eat here and have a tastey meal.

As always I got the Cannonballs.

Another delish meal at Earl of Sandwich. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Could tell by the small amount of talking at the table.

Next up.....shopping at Miracle Mile Shops
