Ok,
I deserve the blonde moment award!
Friday afterschool, I rushed to get the last two things for the boxes that I needed to send. I got them and headed to the PO for boxes. Since there was no line- I decided to pack the boxes and mail them right there. Everything seemed to be going my way- easy, quick and fast....
This morning I went down to clean out my car so DH could take it to the airport and I discovered a whole bag of stuff I forgot along with our cards.
I will package that stuff up and send it out tomorrow!
Sorry Buddies!
S :)

OMG! this is so me! i thought i was the only one that did this. the morning i packed mine up it was after i put ds on the bus and before i went to work i tried to hurry and it looked a little light, but i thought maybe the box was bigger than i thought so i taped it up ran to the post office and mailed it out. then the other day dh,ds, my mom and i are looking thru my box and they all had something to say about the box i sent out and how much my ss would love this and that and like a lighting bolt went off and i said "OMG! i forgot all those things in my box!!!!" what a dope i was. see what happens when you try to hurry! so i am also mailing my 2nd box to my sister!

Thank you mommy2mrb!!

I  my special box.
From California,
Sacramento - Blue Diamond Almonds
Petaluma - Blackberry Cassis candle (in frosted, lidded glass holder)
Yosemite - Vanilla & Oats Olive Oil Soap

I also received Purple Post-it pad, Purple Sharpie & Dove candy - but I don't think those are made in California. :rotfl:

I have to share the candy, 'cause the little one was here when I opened the box. So I can't hide them. :lmao:

The almonds are all mine. The boys prefer cashews. I prefer almonds so this is very good.

Thanks for being my SS. It has been lots of fun.

Oops, almost forgot, thank you for the wonderful Cricut made card. I really wanted to make those this year, but I didn't. Now I have one to put in my to-be scrapped box.

You are very welcome......your purple stuff and candy is from CA, that's where I bought them :rotfl:

we are surrounded by almond orchards here, they really set off my spring allergies when the trees are in bloom, very pretty!

I tried to be sneaky just in case you tryed peaking at the postmarks, had DH mail first one from FL, and DM mailed 2nd one from WA and then when we did our mini swap for the princess stuff it really threw me on how to disguise my handwriting. It was great fun finding your goodies, especially the boy stuff. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Lisa

To my secret sis - your box is on its way and sorry for the lack of local stuff. For some reason, "winter" is a hard time to find local stuff. I don't get it. It's still hot and people still visit!

I received my package of goodies on Saturday!

THank you so much MaryJ!

I love everything and you have been a wonderful secret sister.:santa:

This is what I had in my box.
MMM yummy Ghiradelli chocolates Mint and caramel
a pretty purple refillable water bottle made in Indiana
cute puppy stickers
a snow man ornament I love Hallmark ornaments
red fibers! very pretty
lots of brads
some clear stamps
and a JoAnn's gift card

I love everything! Thank you again... I hope we do this again. ..

I mailed my SS stuff on Sat. for some reason I drew a blank on local stuff from CT - I guess ct is just boring!!! Unless i sent you something from the casinos. Be on the look out for a snowman wraped box. (As usual the postman gave me a hard time and said i shouldnt wrap the box because it would probably get ripped) but i didnt think the babywipe box was too attractive!!!
have fun with it - sorry i was running late on getting it out.
Jennifer

Mine are running late too!! Sorry SSs!!! Being a one car family last week seriously put me behind. :scared1:

Just letting my SS know her package went out today. LOL of course you don't know who you are but someone will be getting a package in a couple days.

I actually was pretty impressed it only took 15min in the PO to get my stuff mailed. The line was long but they had 3 workers and everyone seemed to have there stuff ready to go. I sometimes feel bad for the worker when the line is long but someone gets up to the counter not even close to being ready.

I was going to mail today, but the line was soooo long. Going first thing in the morning.

SS you will have a package this week :santa:

My eldest received his package from MickeyTeacher's DS.

He took off with it, so I didn't get to see it all. He said there were stickers, pencils, pens, a wallet, a baby Slinky, cardmaking kits, and his favorite, the Mickey album.

Thank you for being his SS. :thumbsup2

I got my package from Logan&tyler's mom. Thank you so much, everything was wonderful. I got a lovely bucket of chipboard Christmas shapes. I may even decide to be nice and let each of my students decorate one as a Christmas Craft. I will still have plenty left over for myself.I also got a small yankee candle, a pez, some fanastic Disney circut paper piecings, 2 beautiful ornaments made by some of her clients, lots of snow things- I think I will use them on my Disney holiday book and you are right we don't get much of it here. I got a little Connecticut scrap stuff- which I can use when I scrap trips to Grandpa's or my childhood living in CT. I got little sticky pads and notepads. I got an address book and the cutest mini calendar that can go on a key chain, 2 Christmas stamp sets, ribbon, a jingle bell necklace, a really cool paperclip dragonfly, and lots of other things.

By the way it got here still wrapped up without a rip in the paper.

THNAK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You have been a great secret sister.

Rebecca

SO gald it got there safely!!! Enjoy - I had a lot of fun picking things out for you - and what a small world - i didnt know you grew up in CT!!!
Jennifer

I found it at The Dollar Store if you can believe that. I also found some at Wal-Mart as well. I'm glad she enjoyed her package!:goodvibes

I was a Kmart last night and found it! They were on sale too.

Thank youto my SS! ksjayhawks!

I got the box Friday and we were leaving for Cleveland. DD promptly confiscated the nice big fleece blanket! Love the tote-- I was looking at them and didn't get one, now I have one! Also got a candle and oh no my mind is going blank! I'll have to post the rest when I get home. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas! :santa:

I finally mailed my SS package today- so if you haven't gotten a package yet a heavy one may be coming your way soon.

Rebecca

DD got her package today from Pretty in Tink's DD!!! All she can say is "WOW!!" Her mouth literally fell open when she opened it. And of course a huge "THANK YOU!!!"

She got:
Liberty Orchards Aplets & Cotlets Candy (I can't wait to try this!- UPDATE just tried them and they are soooo yummy)
A box of See's chocolates (again, I can't wait to try this! :rolleyes1 )
And a huge Mickey scrapbook kit!!!! She and I are so excited- she wants to start scrapping right now. (She has a family tree project due this week, so it will motivate her to finish!) It comes with a 12x12 album (this is great, she is excited to try a size like Mom's), 20 12x12 papers, page protectors, tons of stickers (393 to be exact!), ribbon, rhinestones, chipboard accents and awesome storage organizer! It is so cute and just perfect!
and an embellishment kit with purple ribbon, snowflakes and purple rhinestones!
Thank you for being such an awesome SS to her, she has had the best time!

Thank you TPCShauna!!

I got my wonderfully heavy and chocked-full package today!

I got some fun Christmas socks, a Mary Engelbreit Christmas notepad, a cute cat metal tag, kitty stickers, Jolee’s stars, daisy stickers, photo corners, 3 different patterns of holiday ribbon, and a pretty floral summer time page layout kit.

From Northern California, I got a bunch of wonderful treats: Blue Diamond almonds from Sacramento. Peet’s Tea from Berkeley, Ghiradelli chocolates from San Francisco and the best of the best – Jelly Belly Belly Flops from Fairfield. I think I said chocolate was my favorite candy, but in all honesty, Jelly Bellies are my guiltiest of guilty pleasures! I actually bought myself a couple of little bags for DH to put in my Christmas stocking and then went and ate them last week! Now I don’t have to go and replace them! That bag is enormous! Quite clearly I need to schedule a vacation to Northern California to visit their factory!

As much as I loved the jelly beans, my favorites were definitely the homemade goodies:
Lovely photo mats and file folder in Tuscan-colors and an adorable topper and shaker box of Eeyore! Along with my name in bling and a beautiful cross-stitched ornament that’s already hanging on the tree!

I love everything – thanks for being such a great secret sister!

My eldest received his package from MickeyTeacher's DS.

He took off with it, so I didn't get to see it all. He said there were stickers, pencils, pens, a wallet, a baby Slinky, cardmaking kits, and his favorite, the Mickey album.

Your So Welcome. Please let DS know that we have another package of stuff that was let out of the package by mistake. I'm hoping to get it mailed tomorrow after school.
