Has Anyone Ever Won TWICE!?!?

I got my second Dream Fastpass at DHS today (first one was won in Epcot in June).

We won ears and lanyards in October 07 and then We won ears and lanyards in Dec 08!

Charleyann

Typo? Dec 08?
My DD then 14months won tinkerbell pins in DTD in the pin store, one to keep one to share.:woohoo: She was just a baby so she didn't care, but her older sister thought it was great. Hoping to get a wish this September!!!:thumbsup2 Especially ears, since we have never bought any.

I have won dream fast passes 3x Dec 06 We won at AK and MGM, then DEC 07 won at the Animal kingdom!

Was so awesome to have won that! :)

We went November '08 and won dream fast passes at MGM (DHS). The lines were so short that we didn't even have to use them. That same trip we won dream fast passes in MK, and shortly after that, while waiting for the Country Bears, the woman running the attraction, asked my boys if they wanted to start the show! We were escorted to the front row where the boys got to "wake up the bears". I think DH and I were more excited than they were :lmao: DH and I are heading back this September - hoping for a dream this time around.

Yep, twice in the same trip - Nov 07. Dream fastpasses at MK (getting off Splash Mountain) and lanyards at Epcot (getting on Soarin')

Great trip!!

We won Dream Fastpasses on ToT for being at the first pre-show! A few days later a lady was very kind and gave us four Dream Fastpasses with just Soarin' left after we got off Mission Space, which was perfect because it was the only ride we hadn't gone on yet.

::yes:: We won lots during our 10 day trip. :thumbsup2 In AK we won 3x in one day. :woohoo:

Same with our last day in MK. :goodvibes

This March wifey and I won Dream FastPasses in the pre-show room of Dinosaur and again two days later while preparing to board Buzz.

If I recall correctly, 'TYMD' campaign began in the latter half of '05. (someone can correct me if I'm wrong). My husband and I went 'dream-less' in '05 and '06. . .but had some added 'magic' in '07. . .

We had 10-day hoppers. On our first day at the MK, we were presented with Dream Fast Passes when exiting Big Thunder Mtn Railroad in the a.m. When we pulled into the exit station, the CM at the podium announced to our train that we were winners! The attraction was closing for refurbishment the following day, so we had to get our fill on that particular day!

On day 2, we were exiting Flights of Wonder at AK (it was sprinkling. . .and the show was cancelled midway as a result of the weather). We proceeded to the neighboring ice cream cart for our daily Mickey ice cream bar fix! The CM announced to us that this was the 'Year of a Million Dreams' and our money was no good at his cart! The rain picked up---and the CM pushed aside his trash can so we could share his umbrella while we enjoyed our Mickey treat! I asked the CM how he was alerted that it was time to 'dispense a dream'. . .having believed everything was random. He told us that he was allowed to dispense dreams as he saw fit----within a reasonable amount throughout the day. He simply had to 'call it in' anytime he granted a dream! Wrong thing to say to my husband. . .I think he spent the rest of the trip looking for isolated ice cream carts---trying to determine which CM might be feeling up to springing a 'dream'. . .

Uh. . .it worked. Would you believe day 3 of our trip? We were in EPCOT. I think the ice cream carts had just opened. My husband was itching for a Mickey bar. When he ordered, the CM looked at me and said, "are you SURE you don't want anything?" I didn't get it at first. . .but my husband nudged me. . .and she asked me again. . .so I got a free Mickey bar. . .and even though I just ate my breakfast. . .I somehow managed to enjoy it!

Lastly. . .we almost got to open the AK park one day. (though I know they do this even if it wasn't TYMD) We were first in line at one of the turnstiles. A CM came up to us and asked us if the children jumping around at the front gate (near us) were ours. I said, "no". (gladly) They located the parents some 8 feet back----and they were asked to open the park. We were close. . .I know I didn't really want to dance and play musical instruments. . .so it was fine that it was left to the hyperactive children!

Anyhow. .. they were small 'dreams', I guess (if you compare them to a night in Cinderella's castle. . .or a shopping spree. . .or whatever. . .but they were all pretty special!

Hmmm, I wonder if the parking we got once was a CM-decided dream like the ice cream if there are certain times for that one. We were driving through the AK parking toll booth and flashed our AP (which includes parking). The CM at the booth gave us a little YOMD certificate good for special parking near the AAA lot. I dunno if you have to be a certain car or if he felt sorry for us because we were driving an Aztek or what! (Actually Azteks are great vehicles.)

I won twice on the same ride BTM on Aug 2 at the MK. We were the first riders of the day and they asked if we wanted to stay on and go twice. Stayed on and coming off got dream fast passes, no line up still so rode again and the dream team was still standing there.

We won three times during our Easter trip last year. Got YOMAD pins and lanyards when we got on Buzz Lightyear's Ranger spin, got chosen as Citizens of WDW (MY dd8 got a set of Tink pins) and was driven directly to our car at the AK parking lot by a CM, and my daughter and sister got more Tinkerbell YOMAD pins when they visited some gift shop I can't remember.

My DD8 won twice Christmas of '06. She was ToonTown's first YOMAD winner, and then she was selected again when she opened the Pocahontas and her Forest Friends show.

So yep, the YOMAD lightning can strike several times within the same trip. :thumbsup2

We won 3 times in our last trip - which was only 3 days! The first thing was just outside Peter Pan around 10:00 I stopped and sat on a bench to help my son with his shoes and a man came up and asked if we wanted to join the Lost Boys Club. We were escorted to the front of the rides line, we recited the neverland chant and when we came off the ride they had a photographer there to catch my son being presented with a certificate that certified him as a member of the Lost Boys Club. Very cute! :goodvibes

The next day, my husband got in line for Popcorn outside Dinoland in AK around 11:00, and when he went to pay for a small popcorn, he was told there was no charge, and upgraded to a large souviner bucket. popcorn::

Finally, we were at Epcot walking by Norway when we were presented with lanyards:thumbsup2

We also seemed to get LOTS of stickers from the CM's - the whole front of his shirt was filled one day!

It wasn't until we came home that we realized how lucky we were - we were under the impression that it was a common occurance! :rotfl:

We have won a few times now, twice at WDW - we won dream fastpasses as well as dream ears on 2 separate trips and 4 times at DL - we won dream fastpasses 3 times and lanyards with pins once. It all comes down to luck! Good luck!

3 times within 24 hours last August!!!!:yay:
*We got upgraded from a standard room to concierge @ the YC
*We got asked to be in the parade @ AK the next morning
*10 minutes after being asked to ride in the parade, we got dream fastpasses @ AK!

We won 3 times in December '07:
-Epcot dream FPs
-MGM dream FPs
-Dream pin lanyard & pins

Then this July we won Dream FPs at Epcot.

In 1996 we were at MK when it open and went right to BTMR. We were the first ones on the ride and they were handing out lanyards with three pins. Last year we went to MK on our last day and were getting on Winnie the Pooh ride and won fast passes. We keep one for my scrapbook and gave the other away since we were leaving. I will be takeing my niece with me this year and I am hoping she gets something since it is her first trip ever and she is 11.
Tina

We won twice in June '07. We got YOAMD hats while getting off of Tom Sayers Island and got YOAMD pins while standing in the middle of Tomorrowland. LOL :cool1:

We have only won once but let me tell you what we won! Last December, we were in the Christmas Shop in MK and my 6 year old son was approached by a member of the team. He asked my son to sign his name on a thin piece of contruction paper. He took it over to a 3' Christmas tree in the shop and made it into a ring and stapled it to another ring of contruction paper that was part of a ring of construction paper garland on the tree. He got a certificate indicating that it was one of the million dreams being given away. We to the shop 2 days later when we were back at the MK and the garland had been taken off the tree. My son was disappointed to say the least. Talk about smashing his dream. Oh well, that was our one and only experience with the year of a million dreams. We are going back again in December. Who knows what big dream may be fulfilled for us this time!!!
