When will Jambo House be opening?

July 10 for DVC villas only. No restaurants, merch or front desk at at Jambo, there will be an internal shuttle to Kidani. Only the Uzima Pool will be open. Probably not the pool bar, though. Question as to what level of bell services will be available at Jambo.

Question - right now I’m booked for mid Oct at akl Jambi house (not dvc). Should I try to switch to something else? Or just hold tight and see what Disney does. Will they just cancel my reservation? We’ll probably be moving our trip to 2021 bc I have a 2 year old that realistically is not going to keep a mask on. But I’m thinking I should just wait and see

I was also booked at Jambo House for mid-October - they moved me to Kidani without me asking. I wasn't going to call them until closer to my trip - there's just so much in flux right now that I didn't really care where I ended up as long as it's still a deluxe resort.

11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Kidani, I’m assuming the same thing at the Jambo pool.

Just confirming...

As of right now, the ONLY quick service at AKL in general is breakfast (at Sanaa) and the pool bar at Kidani. Right?

I'm considering splurging on AKL for our trip next year. However, we will not have a car. Is there information on how long the bus rides average to each of the 4 parks? I'm having trouble finding it anywhere. My daughter wants to be a zookeeper and work with exotic animals, so she would love to stay here, but my boys want to be closer to the parks at one of the skyliner resorts. Is it really as far away from everything as everyone says? Thanks.

Does anyone know if buses to the parks/Disney Springs are operating at Jambo House currently while its only open to DVC? If I stay at Jambo, do I have to walk up to Kidani to catch a bus?

Since it's so close to AK, the bus ride is about 5 minutes, 10 minutes max. For other parks and DS, I would say they're about 15-25 minutes (with MK being the longest ride). Busy nights back to AKL from MK can sometimes be 30+ minutes. Keep in mind that Kidani is first for pick-up/drop-off, so I factored that into the ride time since I've always stayed at Jambo. Sometimes Kidani has a lot more people unloading before we get dropped off at Jambo.

If there are guests staying at Jambo they will pick up from there. The busses would have to loop past Jambo to get to Kidani anyway.

Hey @dgbg100106 , you can remove us from our September stay. Just had emails confirming no flights for us.... *sad trombone sounds*

Maybe next time, we'll be lucky. Maybe next time we'll staaaaaaaaaaay (at Jambo).

Is the Jambo House lobby open? Can people at least hang out if they wear masks and social distance?

How about in the Kidani lobby?

Are both Kidani & Jambo pools open? How are the numbers of people in the pool(s)?

Is there an inner shuttle running between Kidani <--> Jambo?
