Welcome to another KatMark Trip Report.
Mark and I had one of our best trips ever last week, despite the rain. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
I'm going to get the intros going and then when we get home Sunday night (yes, we are still in Florida), I'll be able to get this puppy moving along.
First up, is Mark, my husband of 31 years (we celebrated our May anniversary while at the World last week).
Mark loves to try on different hats to please my DIS readers.
His favorite park: Magic Kingdom
His favorite character: Dumbo
His favorite movie: Dumbo
His favorite ride: Haunted Mansion
Mark is currently unemployed having lost his job of 29 years in June. He umps baseball during the Spring and Summer (and a little in the Fall) to support our Disney habits.
Next up is your narrator, Kathy.
(pardon the hair...between the rain and humidity, it was a very bad hair trip)
My favorite park: Magic Kingdom
My favorite character: Tigger
My favorite movie: Beauty & The Beast
My favorite ride: Tower of Terror
I have been working for the same law firm for 39+ years. My goal is that when a current contract we have with Singapore expires on July 19, 2016 and I have been there 41 years and my boss turns 90, we will FINALLY retire and we will move to Florida.
We are the parents of two great boys and a terrific daughter-in-law.
Andy, the oldest, who is 28 years old. A full-time substitute teacher and head varsity baseball coach at a high school near our house. Andy recently moved out (we are now empty nesters) and lives in an apartment in the City with his girlfriend of three years, Des.
Mark is our youngest son at age 26. He works for a huge accounting firm in Dubuque in the I.T. department and is an assistant wrestling coach at Loras College. He is married to our beautiful daughter-in-law, Alisha. They got married in June of 2013. Alisha works for a subsidiary of John Deere and also works part-time when needed at a nursing home.
Alisha with her father-in-law who thinks she walks on water
So that's us in a nutshell.
Please pull up a chair and I hope you enjoy reliving our trip with us. I hope to see many of my long time readers. And if you are a new reader, please don't hesitate to post. I promise we don't bite.
