Mixing Business and Magic - A Solo Adventure * UPDATED 11/3*

So, Mickey's Backyard BBQ was a big hit IMO. Back at the hotel that evening I took a few pics. Here are a couple of little souvenirs I bought at EPCOT. I think after a bit of rain I was in need of a hairbrush. This little fold up hairbrush has become a good addition to my park bag. I also just wanted mints and was out.... practical souvenirs.

Looks like it was a just over 14 mile day!

And my pin trades for the day...

After a good night's sleep I was ready for more Disney! I did some resort hopping in the morning.

First stop...

I had breakfast at Pepper Market....

I went with the Mexican Eggs Benedict Burrito and it was a delicious choice!

Nothing better than a solo trip! I got my 2nd one coming up in 3 weeks. Nothing better than living to YOUR agenda and living Disney according to YOU! I know that sounds selfish, but its nice!

Hi! Thanks for reading! It doesn't sound selfish at all! Although I love travelling with family as well there isn't anything quite like a solo getaway!

My park for the morning turned out to be...... DHS!

Next on my Disney To Do List was a meet I had been looking forward to! In my usual style I took in all the details while I waited.

By the time I had done well with taking in my surroundings my two favorite monsters showed up!

When you are by England in World Showcase you can either make your way around towards France or go straight to exit to the Boardwalk resort area. So fun!

After a fun meet with Mike and Sulley I wandered through the Streets of America....

This Disney Vacation Club window caught my eye!

Next up... Writer's Stop...

I checked out my options....

I passed some old friends along the way...

Stitch and Pluto were coming and going. Goofy was staying put for awhile...

I was on my way to watch the Citizens of Hollywood perform...

They all arrived in their cute little cars...

Next on the list was a first for me... Rock n Roller Coaster....

Since I was travelling without my little guy I was squeezing in some of the scarier rides we always skip. This meant it was Tower of Terror time....

This was a traumatic experience for me. I think I was prepared to drop once but not repeatedly...

I did live to tell about it though.... In the shop afterwards...

After two thrill rides in a row I was ready for something nice and calm..... like Beauty and the Beast on stage.

And they lived happily ever after...

Up next I had a first time lunch reservation that I was looking forward to....

At 50's Prime Time Café....

I adore the feel of this place!

There was a bit of a wait so I relaxed in the Tune In Lounge next door...

Soon enough I was seated and I tried the onion rings and ice berg wedge along with a peanut butter and jelly milkshake....

The whole experience was quite a treat!

With a full tummy I moved onto my next destination and another Disney World First for me. Any guesses? I'll give initials.... T.L.

Alexis gets the best guesser award! The afternoon was spent at Typhoon Lagoon!

The Disney details are absolutely perfect here!

The lazy river was a favorite for me here!

It was June and hot so I took a quick swim before finishing up my picture tour...

On my walk I came across a lagoon where you can snorkel with sharks!

In this area near the shark pool was also a pick a pearl location...

There are a lot of little food booths like this next one... Surf Doggies...

All refreshed from cooling off during the heat of the afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon I returned to the Magic Kingdom. It is nearly impossible to enter without snapping a picture of this view....

I scored major pixie dust by being welcomed with castle fireworks!

On my way past the Confectionary I stopped to say hello to Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie....

Looks like a treat was in order, too!

Next on the list was a special first meet for me!

In Adventureland there was one of those clever sidewalk water painters....

Somehow, according to pictures, I was no longer in Adventureland and I was ALL the way across the park in Casey's soak station and boarding the train at Fantasyland Station..... who knows...
