I've been researching the menus on allears, and find that some CS places do not offer good kids' meals. If they'd serve a few adult options in kid sized servings, as they do at so many TS establishments, these issues wouldn't exist for me. However, I fully intend to order adult CS meals for my 2 "child" DDs to split. They really like wrap sandwiches, chicken salads, and rotisserie chicken so I will order those types of meals for them. If this means me and DH having to stragegize before we purchase CS meals, so be it.

If your kid doesn't like what is on the Children's menu, you can always pay OOP for an adult meal and use the CS credit elsewhere.
Paying for your child's food OOP doesn't waste anything - it just requires you to pay for what your child eats.3PRINCESSMOM said:Posters passing judgements and saying things like ..."just pay OOP" seem to ignore the biggest sin of all regarding the use of the DDP...waste!
Good for you. As far as I know, nobody has brought morals into this discussion, nor passed judgments. The OP asked a factual question - what is allowed. The factual answer is that using CP credits to get an adult meal when a child's meal is available is against the rules. Only you can decide if breaking the rule to get food without paying OOP for it fits within your church-going morals.I am a hard-working, church-going, moral person! I do not need judgements made,
the board is all about telling people how the plan works and what options are available. One option is paying OOP. You will note my post said "you can", not "you should".or instructions given regarding how I should use the DDP.
One of the great things about the plan is the flexibility of choosing where to eat.At some places the choices given for kids' meals are appealing at someplaces they aren't.
