did a tip load today...
$42 today, one load 30th june
july 1st $50 one load
20% increase due to carbon tax

crazy:eek:

is this how things are going to be from now on????

I'll be interested to see what petrol prices do, even though the oil price is falling and the $$ is rising, our hasn't dropped anywhere near as much as it should have and not they'll just put them up again! Dammit should have filled up yesterday.

I need to do our ESTA too, still got time then.

Wondering if council house rates will increase also? Due to them rubbish collecting??

My car is a diesel which is more economical BUT the price of diesel should be less than petrol and lately it's been about 10c more.

Julia needs to go, baahhh they all need to go

Like it or not when an election happens, even if the party changes the carbon tax will stay, and they'll just keep increasing the rate

I need to build a self sustainable igloo and ride a bike to work and grow my own vegetables...

How are they going to know how much to tax the cows for their farting? They release alot of carbon into the atmosphere :upsidedow

Thanks for that I did already check that with 1 cover the family policy allows us to travel separate or together but I think that I am probably now going to have go with 3 individual trip policies not happy:sad2: I would of flipping changed our flights by 2 days when I changed them all had I known:headache:

i was lucky, i do more trips by myself than he does, so it was a fluke i put myself down as 1st policy holder.
although when he came back a week before me, i had to fork out $200 for his trip insurance because we weren't travelling togeather:eek: lesson learnt:rolleyes1

I wish you had taught me that lesson before I changed flights :rotfl2:
Do you think it would be safe to just buy DS16 a medical only policy Zuji has one that would give him unlimited medical cover for $98 it's not like he needs car insurance cover etc and I'm sorta thinking that if we missed flights etc:eek:It's only 1 person not 6:confused3:confused3

This is driving me nuts DH thinks it may be just easier to call and change his flight:eek: maybe before I paid for his domestic one but not now seriously today I want to run away from my trip:headache:
I did check the itrek one according to the cannstar awards Zuji and 1300 cover are the best medical only ones what to do what to do :confused3 by the time you add in flight delay and luggage it's the same cost as a comprehensive plan. I asked him if he wanted to stay home instead :lmao: you hold of seen the look on his face priceless:rotfl2:

:rotfl: the joys of motherhood...bringing pain to the ones we love:thumbsup2

maybe just get the bare basics, as especially in the usa they have great compensation for lost bags and involuntary bumps. Can you get flight insurance thru the airline per sector, may be cheaper.

My motto is " if you cant afford travel insurance..then you cant afford to travel"....

:thumbsup2There is no way on Earth he is stepping foot on USA soil without full Medical cover I am just wondering whether it is worth paying out for a comprehensive cover when we already have one I know he won't be covered on it but I just don't know but I can tell you I have had enough of unexpected expenses I can't believe I was so thick to not think about it when I changed everyone's flights:rolleyes1 only got myself to blame:headache:

yep... definitely get medical (make sure its unlimited),but the rest should just be basic cover.
If he has any valuables, either you take them home in your bags(therefore covered)or he has them in carry on.
also as a "minor" he wont be bumped on flights, and they will kind of escort him so he wont miss any if hes already in the airport.
sometimes we just have to swallow the cost and put it down as lesson learnt. look for promo codes as well.
good luck:flower3:

I have decided to get him full cover with SCTI I am going to scrap the annual policy(after reading through a heap of reviews this morning decided to give 1cover a miss) and buy 3 individual policy's and next time we think about traveling on different dates I am going to remember to check the fine print first :rotfl2:

yep....sometimes we are the windscreen, other times we are the bug:confused3

travel...gotta love it, drama and all:cloud9:

I'm too lazy to work our how many days till we leave, but it must be 70-something. I have to say the time has flown since we started planning this trip, compared to my last trip, where the time draagggeed so much.

2 more things paid for last night - ESTA's times 5, plus Knotts Berry Farm tickets - bought them online as they are $20 cheaper per adult than buying at the gate, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that our eldest daughter is still considered a child at 11, as opposed to 9 for DL.

So all we have left to pay for is the hotel balance (have paid half but waiting to see if any specials come out), Halloween tickets (should be able to buy them next Tuesday morning), and Fantasmic dessert seating at 30 days out. All meal and spending money now saved, all other stuff I can prepay has been prepaid, so I'm cheering!
