Is gratuity included in room service at the beach club? Thanks.
Do any of the premium dining plans currently available include tips -- much like the Grand Plan once did?
All your dining credits are on every KttW for your room. Don't put charging privileges on your kids' cards, and use one of those to "pay" for your meals. Since you're using a card that doesn't have charging on it, there's no way for the server to charge the tips to your room.I am very nervous about tipping for some reason. We have DDP and I am planning on paying tips with cash but I have a feeling we will have charging on our KTTW. I know if I just right cash they are not supposed to charge the tip but I am super nervous that they will and it will be a mess to clear up. Should I just give up and charge tips?

5. No personal tipping habits are to be discussed. Generally speaking, what you tip at Disney is entirely up to you. To figure out what your meal will run, check out the menus here on the DIS at (insert link here). This will give you an idea of the meal cost. Disney does provide 18% and 20% calculations on the dining receipt. What you actually tip, is up to you with the exceptions below.
The exceptions to this are those using the Tables in Wonderland (TiW) Discount Card and parties of 6 or more. If you are in either one of these categories, you will have an auto gratuity of 18% added to your bill. Adjustments to this would need to be discussed with a manager.
Parties of 6 include everyone at the table, including children under 3 and infants. If you are dining with another group and paying separate, you are still subject to the 18% gratuity added to the bill. Each group at the table can get their own bill with their portion of the gratuity split out.
Please note Disney does not differentiate between types of Table Service buffets, all you care to eat and menu ordering locations are all treated equal and subject to the same guidelines by Disney.
There is always concern expressed about a set gratuity and service. Your option is to talk to the manager at the time of the incident. The only adjustment possible is done by the restaurant manager. Better to speak to the manager early on and receive improved service than to complain at the end to request redeuced gratuity
I am sure this has been asked but I just didn't have the time to read through 1500+ replies.
What is the standard tipping procedure on buffets? Is it still the 15-20%?
I totally understand not wanting to read all of the replies! That's why we put a tipping FAQ on the very first post. I copied the answer to your question from that post. (Bolding is mine) Hope this helps!
It is simply part of the job, like handling tips on credit cards.I work as a server and my feeling would be that I pay my mortgage etc with real money not Disney dollars. I am sure they can cash them in but it just makes one more unnecessary step for them.
I was just wondering if it would be acceptable to leave my tip for Victoria and Albert's in those cute little tip envelopes. I'm not sure if it would be to, "cutesy" or if the tip is actually added on automatically since it is such a signature dining place. There are only 2 of in the party, but I still wasn't sure if they added it automatically for all parties? I am going to make up my envelopes soon, so I need to know if I can/should make one for V&A!?

V&A is a 5 star restaurant with impeccable service. For me, and again, just my opinion, envelopes don't work for me
YMMV
