Traveling with stuffed animal

Dd, now 24, has her Corduroy bear! He has more travel miles than most adults. She was devastated when he had to be checked after 9-11, but it was only from Sanford to Mass, not the other way. PanAm assured us that she could carry him, sadly Sanford PanAm people hadn't gotten the memo. She survived. But he goes everywhere with her...train, plane, automobile. No one bats an eye.

I know lots of adults (usually female) that travel with a stuffed animal. In one case - he's been traveling with her since her first plane flight as a kid! (She's almost 40.) Every trip. Including her honeymoon. Too bad the little stuffed bear couldn't earn flight miles! Most of the time - his head sticks out out of her backpack that is her "personal item" - it's quite cute.
