TRON D23 Preview

(More info)

>//BEGIN: PROGRAM UPLOAD_

CODE RECEIVED // ENCOM – TMLND. DIVISION, ORL, FL.

Dive into the digital frontier as D23: The Official Disney Fan Club invites you to be among the first to experience the all-new attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise®!

D23 Gold Members will be able to experience the attraction before it opens and will score some enticing extras to elevate the ultimate “user experience.” This night is coded for pure enjoyment.

First, D23 Gold members will check-in at the Ticket and Transportation Center to receive their commemorative event credential. D23 Gold members will then proceed to the main entrance, via monorail or water taxi, where they will find a designated turnstile to enter Magic Kingdom Park as they commence on their journey to the Grid.

Lean forward into the ultimate race for survival! Leave the real world behind and join Team Blue in an epic quest across the Grid—the dark, computerized world with no horizons from TRON. Here, there’s no limit to the excitement.

Climb aboard your very own Lightcycle and take off on a high-speed adventure, racing against the Grid’s most menacing Programs. Surge past your fierce opponents as you attempt to cross through eight Energy Gates and secure your team’s victory—so you can survive to race another day.

D23 Gold members will be able to experience the attraction as many times as they wish during the event and can mingle with fellow D23 Gold members at the Attraction Plaza in Tomorrowland while snacking on refreshments. Users in attendance will also receive a D23-exclusive commemorative gift upon exit.

Prepare for an epic adventure through the digital frontier. Can’t wait to see you there.

Does anyone know what happens at 8:30? Like, will we be able to wander around MK after? I’m assuming yes!

I’m assuming the same. Park is open to 11pm.

Memo says check-in starts 5pm at TTC and we can enter MK as soon as we get our credentials (and physically get there lol), then specifies we can explore Tommorland until TRON opens at 6:30p. Not sure if we’re restricted to only one land? Sounds weird. So far no mention about 8:30-11pm. I doubt we’ll be cut off as MK guests at 8:30pm.

My guess is access to MK 5-11pm (while mentally noting it might be just Tomorrowland?).

With D23 GotG preview, ride was scheduled for after the park closed but guests were able to enjoy Epcot starting 4pm.

I’ll be working on our shirts this weekend. Right now, I’ve got a “Flynn’s Arcade” design for my spouse. I’m trying to do a Tron suit-style T-shirt (with the lines and circles), but mixing in “I got in” somewhere on the shirt. It might not come together, but we’ll see!

We have Flynn’s Arcade shirts! I also have Tron ears with the lines and circles. We’ll coordinate with you!

I’m still trying to figure something out and the clock’s tick tick ticking.

Can’t wait to see all the outfits here!

I guess I’ll have to admire yours! I have not had time to do anything! Rats!

However I can’t wait for my 1st d23 event. One week!

Has anyone had issues bringing a replacement guest to the events. I managed to get 2 tickets, but there is a family emergency and my guest may not be able to attend. Or is this something I would need to check with guest services?

I had two tickets to the Epcot 40th Celebration on October 1st last year. My flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian, so I emailed (and then called) to see if I could transfer my tickets to a friend who lives in Florida. I was told they were not transferable or refundable. So even with the threat of hurricane, they would do nothing for me. Guest services, I’m relatively certain, will not be able to do anything for you since this is a D23 event and not the AP/DVC preview. Hope you have better luck than I did!

Thanks! I was afraid of that. Well, I will still give it a shot. Thinks are up in the air for now.
