Can anybody help me figure out why I got 5% back on these mvmcp tickets? Not that I’m complaining……I thought maybe it had something to do with those extra chase offers we use but the only one I ever used of that was a 10% off and I bought a $50 gift card cause it was a max of five dollars…. but I don’t think they have anything to do with the ultimate rewards? The ultimate rewards right now is car rental gas and movie Theatre…… I feel like I must be missing something obvious but….

I assume that you used a CF or CFF. Live entertainment is one of the 5% categories this quarter and it looks like that purchase triggered the 5%.

I know this isn't budget related per se...but did you know that if you are flying out of Orlando you can actually reserve a time to go through TSA and not have to wait in the long lines? It is called MCO Reserve, its a free service that is being tested in a couple of different airports, I watched a tik tok by someone who goes to Disney frequently and they talked about it. We fly out from Orlando on Saturday and I was able to schedule for the 5 of us to use it!

Lot's of airports have this now, it's not just an mco thing.

I have the older Chase freedom
mine just says gas movie theaters and rental cars for this quarter……. unless in some weird roundabout way it was under the movie theater category because it’s got live entertainment…. which most amusement parks do….. so that’s just interesting

I'm thinking at some point early on you activated the Q3 2022 Bonus Category which includes: gas stations, rental car agencies, movie theaters and select live entertainment.

Merchants in the Select Live Entertainment category sell tickets for in-person entertainment such as major sporting events, zoos and aquariums, concerts, theatrical productions, museums, tourist attractions and exhibits, amusement parks, circuses, carnivals, bands, and entertainers. Ticket agencies selling on behalf of the entertainment venue are included. Some merchants that sell tickets for in-person entertainment are not included in this category; for example, movie theaters, bowling alleys, horse racing tracks, casinos, and dance hall/clubs. Purchasing from a hotel/concierge is not included nor excursions or purchases as part of a travel package.

TLDR; don’t redeem SB for MC GC right now. If you have and haven’t drained them, drain them NOW.

I just redeemed Mypoints for the prepaid MC . They are no longer available to redeem on both Swagbucks and Mypoints so I'm wondering if they will cancel my order. I had redeemed for MC on Swagbucks last week and used the card right away for a USO GC. Still haven't received the gift card, but it looks like the order was processed in the transaction history so I'm good there.

I tried to reserve that for my trip back in August. I'm not sure why, buy my specific flight was not an option on the dropdown menu. I was bummed but it turned out to be fine. The wait was less than 10 minutes.

I admit I’m still very confused since what it’s showing me right now acts like it’s not included are you saying when I originally activated it about three months ago there was a bonus attached to it that I might not have noticed I guess it’s just weird that that bonus isn’t showing up now..I admit I’m still very confused since what it’s showing me right now acts like it’s not included …….
