What happens IF Wilma comes ??

You need to keep monitoring the National Weather Service forecasts for Orlando as well as NOAA's Hurricane adivsories and storm tracker. You can get both at this link.

Storm track, speed and intensity change frequently.

The main thing everyone needs to realize is that experts can't pinpoint exactly what is going to happen and when, so certainly no one here can. ;)

The main thing to remember based on previous experiences of being at Disney during hurricanes, they will do everything they can to help, but they are not going to let you stay for free just because your plane cant leave, etc. So as someone said if you are staying on rented points you would have to do a cash stay at the same resort. I would not expect to be able to find a lesser costing room when so many will be evcuating to Orlando from the coast. You might want to check that cost and plan ahead. Disney might offer some discount but no guarantee on that.

So when you travel during hurricane season you need to be financially able to cover emergencies of an extended stay, food etc. Also you need to be able to be off work if you get stranded and can't get a plane out etc.

If the Orlando airport closes Disney will work with you on arriving late etc.
