Yet Another Valet Parking ?, It's been awhile

Haven't seen much talk about this for awhile, so here goes....

I want to drive from OKW and want to park at Contemp. Resort for the day at MK then have dinner at California Grill and drive 'home'.

1) Will WDW allow this?

2) Will it still cost $6 for valet service?

3) If I pay $6, do I need to tip as well?

Hate to sound cheap, I just don't want to be suprised.

No you cannot park at the Contemp to go to the MK even if you do pay the 6.00 valet fee. They will not even let you in the gate unless you have a PS for around the time you are parking.
Yes, you have to pay the fee, the only place DVC members are exempted from the fee is at another DVC resort.

If you use valet parking you do have to pay, as you know, you should tip, it is expected and proper, however, no one will force you to.

The Contemporary is probably the most strict of them all when it comes to parking. It would be your best bet to just park in the MK Parking Lot, and take the Monorail to and from the MK/Contemporary.
