Oh my goodness, I soooo agree (what I have spent (time/money) the last several weeks going over and buying to leave them home well supplied/prepared is unbelieveable!) BUT then I think, they would actually be there the whole time. . .nope! My trip this time

Earl of Sandwhich gosh even the toasted kids PB&J is fabulous. . .

Yep easier to bring them (different kind of vacation with them in tow though and if you miss yours you can borrow my 6 who are sailing), and YUM for toasted PBJ at Earls!

We are prepping to drive down in a little bit. Gonna hit Downtown Disney today.

Car is loaded, kids have to go in and take another standardized test this a.m. which won't take long.

Finishing up at home this morning before leaving to attend two days of our youth event.

Put a hold on the mail, made the magnets, mailed the taxes and packed more than I wanted!

I probably will not have an opportunity to check here again before the cruise starts. See ya there!

uhoh! We were upgraded a month ago and I see that our room number in the FE list (group 1) is blank...on the mininavigator too...it is room 6568. Can this still get added in? Will nobody find us? How sad!

Maren - Don't worry! Please come to the group gathering to share your room number. We can also post the number on Stephanie's message board.

The same goes for Steven and Donna -- if your name was on the FE 1 list posted at the beginning of the thread, you will be getting a gift from us. Even if I have to hunt you down!

Since I was unexpectedly given the full day off, I am taking the time to double check of all our baggage and plans. I also get to do that last sweep of the house so we will get to return to a neat home.

Also, we will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek on-property tonight and tomorrow night thanks to my DFIL. He called us last night with a great surprise. It seems out room is next to the Presidential suite. Because that suite is empty, the resort opens it up to guests so that they can watch the Epcot fireworks! That's right, I get to watch my very first Disney parks fireworks tonight.



People, I can't tell you how excited I am to get on that plane tonight.

So we called about a wine package. On the website they have a 3, 4, and 7 day. According the CM, cruisers on 14 day cruise may purchase two 7 day packages, and by "may" they mean "only". You can't buy one. So 14 bottles it is. My BIL and SIL don't drink. We requested a table for 8, so not sure if you will or will not want to be our tablemates!!

Mickey also says you must include a card. So we are gifting ourselves a wine package.

My husband was worried I was going to think this was two much wine. He should know better. We don't usually drink the nights before port, so good thing we have lots of sea days to drink those extra bottles.

I called for the wine pkg this morning. I told them I do not need 14 bottles of wine for the trip, I'm the only one drinking. It's the only pkg avail so like you said I guess Mickey wants us to drink! They did say they thought I could bring it back to my room and I could take 2 bottles home with me.
I guess I'll be making lots of friends at my table sharing my wine.

I am so excited for all of you and will be there to take pictures for the people that asked. I do have one question though - DCL says that the ship leaves at 4:00 not 5:00. I don't know if you guys are aware of this or if I may have my info wrong because I am NOT on the cruise - boo hoo! I didn't want it to mess up your fun plans.

Me too. I had someone comment that knew who had the real money around here. I know they meant it as a joke but it annoyed me anyway. My husband works for Disney and I am a glorified admin. Like we have money!! We worked our butts off doing overtime every week to pay for this thing and was able to get the cast member rate. We also cut back on all of extranious expenses to be able to afford it.

People say we are LUCKY to cruise! Lucky?? No way, we plan and budget. We live frugal lives. Aargh!!!
