The Days in Disney - Live Trip Report

Wow what a great report. I dont think we will have the time to be so descriptive but will give snippets whilst there.Lovvvvvvvvvvvvve the cream d&b bag.How much was it? As for the UGGS gor for them.I intend to buy 2 pairs when I go. I hesitated last time but not this time:lmao:

It was $225 but with a 25% discount before sales tax :thumbsup2 What I mean is that it is 25% off the $225 price

Still deciding on the Uggs as I have 3 pairs already so not sure I really need them:rotfl2:

Now since when exactly, has shopping been about things you need? I thought it was all about what you like, and therefore want, which means you should and deserve to have it  Then, once you have made the purchase, it is relatively easy to assign some sort of NEED to it AFTER you have it, to justify buying it ;) :)

on this last trip, we never had time to get on the internet - we were in the parks from the time we got up until the time we went to sleep.....
the only time we spent in the room was to sleep.... :goodvibes

or rather, i didn't have time....DH was on the internet half the night working....he slept his usual 4 hours/night while i slept like a baby...

Great report, giving me ideas for next year already....:thumbsup2

There are so many Disney restaurants that we have not tried yet, the DDP is going to take a hammering!:rotfl2:

I think we structure our days in a similar way. It gives me a greater appreciation for those who do manage to do the live trippies however - even if it's all part of the fun for them. :)

The DDP is great and over the years we have eaten at lots of Disney restaurants that we wouldnt have tried otherwise.

So far this trip my favourites have been Grand Floridian Cafe and Yak and Yeti.

i definitely appreciate them!!! the last few trips i set out thinking i would do a live trippie, but i never get around to it....i take my hat off to them !! (if i wore on)

we went to yak and yeti this year too!! we enjoyed it so much i tried to get another ADR for later in the trip, but it was all booked up....really yummy and very good service!!

We didn't make it to the GF cafe this time....i very much like the food there, but we ended up switching our ADR to inside the park....i was disappointed to miss it, but you can't eat everywhere every time....next time!!

Both of these were also on our fav list, closely followed by Narcoossee and Teppan Edo :goodvibes

Oh no, I forgot about Teppan Edo ... and I have been quite clear that we are not doing any TS next year ... now you go and mess up my plans :lmao:

I've just read the the whole thread and I've loved it :thumbsup2

Sounds like you are having a fantastic time

We'd love to time our trip one year to try and get the last MNSSHP and MVMCP in the same holiday

Are the Osborne Lights on at the Studios yet?

Can recommend the chicken with mushroom risotto at GFC and Steak and Shrimp at Y&Y

Have fun when you get here

Assuming they are around the same time we did the 1st November for MNSSHP and will be doing MVMCP on 8th November:thumbsup2

We went to Port Canaveral this morning and saw the Dream ship - amazing, it is huge. Really pleased we went and saw it. We actually went through the Disney car parking and were told we could as long as we kept left and did not stop. Kevin drove whilst I took loads of photos - will post them soon.

After this we went back to AK and had lunch at Yak and Yeti counter service. I had the honey chicken and Kevin had sweet and sour chicken. We enjoyed this CS. We sat with a family from Texas as there was hardly any seating available. They were really nice and we talked with them and their 2 daughters about Disneyworld. They were saying that they would love to live in Europe and we have always wanted to live in Florida:rotfl:

We stayed in AK for a while and I made sure we went to see Nemo show as this is my ultimate favourite in AK. I totally love this show it is amazing. This should come to the West End in London it is so good.

Tonight we are going to California Grille and I will probably have the same meal I usually have here - pork tenderloin with goats cheese polenta - it is so yummy. Apparently it was Pavarotti's favourite meal at CG when he was alive and went to Disney.

I agree the Dream is a fantastic ship....When I get round to finishing my trippie it should start to appear around day 23 onwards :rotfl2:
I never knew Pavo was a CG fan. Anyone else famous do you know who has visited here?

More photos - again not necessarily in the right order:thumbsup2

HOUSE SWAP!!!! :woohoo:

Such a cute photo of you with Marie. DD always stops there for a piccie. I also have an almost identical one of her on TSM as the first one in the batch you have just posted.

Had you eaten at Yak and Yeti CS before? I always want to go there and for some reason the most we have done is stop at Pizzafari at DD's insistence, which has happened twice - the rest of the time we tend to survive AK on a nutritious diet of frozen soda and soft serve from the Anandapur Bus :rolleyes1
