***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I'e been obsession over finding a H&V ressie for our party of 3 on 12/9 and I finally got a 10:30. Now I don't know if I want it anymore. DS is really into tigger and pooh right now and i think he was recognize/connect better with those characters rather than Jake & Doc, etc. I've been looking for a Crystal Palace ressie with no luck but I don't even know where we would fit it in. it would have to be 12/5 breakfast or lunch (i'd have to cancel LTT). If we don't get CP, is it likely that we can meet Pooh and Tigger in Fantasyland or will the lines be crazy long? We would try for 12/5 to meet them.

We went to see tigger and pooh in fantasyland last March when the park was CRAZY busy...happened to be in the area about 15 minutes before pooh's arrival..only waited about 20 minutes total.

@Candycane83 , if you're still planning on having Cali Grill Brunch I think the end of your meal will overlap with the beginning of mine. Expect a Bloody Mary to be sent to your table for you and your DH on me.

@Lisa F , Our trips don't overlap really except we arrive at MCO at 12:00 on 12/10. IIRC you depart that same day. If I happen to see you at the airport (slim chance, but still a possibility) I will be happy to Make sure you are well hydrated before your flight home!!

You're sweet! I'm so happy you got your reservation! Yes we will be overlapping for California Grill brunch. I will say thanks for the offer but definitely no need to get me a Bloody Mary! (plus DH and I don't drink a lot) LOL! Just a hi (we'll have our tags!) will be great! There's too much food to enjoy there already as it is!

Nice! It definitely helps to have a good idea of what the QS options are going in, so you can make educated decisions on the fly. I think I'm going to have a tough time fitting in all the food on my trip! So many holiday snacks I want to try, lol.

I have the same problem! It's not only holiday snacks, it's ice cream (flights), cupcakes, pastries, dole whips, popcorn... list is never ending...

Bars....great idea! Bars for two will work just fine. Anyone know if there is one at yak and yeti in AK? That might be the solution to my picky eater DD but might need a break problem!

Yes there is one! I read somewhere you can get the fried wontons to go at the bar actually!

And I'm like Lisa f....I DON'T wait in lines for M&G...but my kids were little back when characters wandered the park and you could just run up and have them sign your book in five minutes... Never forget how excited my 8 year old was to bump into Captain Hook in England in Epcot...those were the days!

Kinda tired of the planning now. The more I wait for RoL or even the trip in general the more time I have to keep changing my mind on things!! I'm contemplating changing park days! Someone stop me!

WPE is the BEST QS. It is virtually a TS, that's why. All you have to do is order yourself, then you sit down and they serve you. princess approved!

Not to air too much dirty laundry or anything (though I'm totally an open book about it), but 12 years in, my former DH proposed that we have an open marriage (and he had been uhhh...shall we say "participating in one"....unbeknownst to me for years). I decided to pass on that offer! But I'm a hopeless romantic and I love LOVE and admire happy couples very much. It's truly an accomplishment and should absolutely be celebrated!! Crazy how fast times flies, isn't it?!

Don't forget 1900 Park Fare has Pooh and Tigger for breakfast so you can try for that too though it would mean leaving the park. I don't know about the character lines for them though. They might appear in other than MK though, I'd check that too.

I didn't know about 1900 Park having Pooh and Tigger. I'll could try to get that because we can do that on 12/6, our resort sight seeing before the party day.

That is good to know they wait wasn't too long. We can hang for while, but I don't want the little guy trapped for an hour trying to see Pooh. If i fail at 1900 park and CP at least I know there is still hope to see them in the park.

YAY so glad you got it. Our plane leaves at 12:25 so we will be ships passing in the night. Very sweet offer but totally unnecessary for such a small thing!

So is everyone good now except for RoL? I know a few people are still seeking some ADRs but no one is waiting for Disney to announce anything else, are they?

lol it's not my princessy thing, it's the kiddo! Lines are tough for him but ride queues have a lot of sensory stuff... walls to touch and things to look at and they move pretty fast. M&G queues move so slowly because it is one at a time and they TRY to not rush people too much. He hates those lines and I can't say I really blame him either. So we'll shell out to the mouse for character meals and skip the M&G except for zootopia because he loves that. I hope it's not too bad at the party.

Just at breakfast, it's cinderella at dinner. park fare is a LITTLE off the beaten path compared to CP so I think your chances might be a bit better there, but having a second option is always good. My friend was able to score the time she wanted a couple of weeks before her trip (while holding a less than ideal time). It's also just pooh and tigger, no piglet or eeyore (but has alice and mad hatter and mary poppins too)

HS QS is not fantastic and you will probably be fine with snacks. A full meal between those two big meals would be too much for me and would make it hard to enjoy 50's PT. there are some great snacks there. I can't remember if you are doing DDP or not.

On the fence about ddp. On the one hand its a great deal for dd since she's under 9 and we are doing character meals. Dh will get his money's worth as he is a meat lover. But me? I'd lose money as a mostly vegetarian.
