Absolutely no doubt at all! I had "confirmed" in the 1st post. Not Ryan, but yes it is, was there ever any doubt?

Ohhhhh ok I see now. Thank you again! It is on the website.
You have to choose a specific park and Select the Attractions tab. Again, Scroll all the way to the bottom! They certainly don't want to advertise which rides are down.
Seems more like he is rubbing a few noses in it.
Anything could happen really. Sometimes the get pushed longer. It is pretty rare they open early tho.For the experts- what are the chances splash could be ready before Nov 16?
What typically happens with a long refurb? Do they pretty much stick to the date? Is it often pushed longer? Is it sometimes shorter?
My only experience was with jungle cruise and i think it re-opened 1 day ahead of schedule...
Last year after BTMR's long rehab it opened exactly on time. I saw them testing it the evening before but they definitely weren't letting people on.For the experts- what are the chances splash could be ready before Nov 16?

I am certainly not upset about the refurb. I think that the 50th Anniversary stuff is bunk since we are too far out for any refurb to last that long (the last huge refurb of Splash was less than 5 years ago), but I am just fine with refurbs. They need to happen. The timing is what makes this stupid, not the need. Now I realize many of you are upset but remember this, this is for the better. Disney is planning a lot of refurbs as we approach the 50th anniversary. I wouldn't have put out the info had I not got it from a source I trust. I am not one to try and spread rumors that have little backing.
And I provided a graph to debunk that. It is what it is, this is part of a much larger schedule. The timing is what makes this stupid, not the need.
we must travel the same times. we had Dinosaur & Big Thunder down last time we were there and I'm hoping nothing more closes until after Nov 19I feel for you Splash lovers who will be visiting during the refurb There's nothing worse than finding out your favourite attraction will be down while you're at WDW.
Last October/November we were without BTMR, Dinosaur and our absolute favourite, RNRC. We were less than thrilled to say the least.
I'm actually expecting an Everest refurb announcement shortly now that Avatar is scheduled to open soon. I hope it's after Nov 17th.
I'll just say this - if this is the last refurb of Splash before the 50th, it will be a disaster. So, IMO, there will be another refurb of this ride, and this one has nothing to do with the 50th.And I provided a graph to debunk that. It is what it is, this is part of a much larger schedule.
Last year they weren't offering FP's for BTMR or RNR until a few days after they were scheduled to be open. They both opened exactly on time though.ooh, our dates coincide with the re-opening. hope it doesn't get pushed back.
if we're there until the 19th, how does fast pass work. do they allow you to schedule one, for, say the 17th if you're going to be there?
FPs won't become available until the opening date is confirmed. There may very well be a less than 60-day FP booking window for the re-opening date.ooh, our dates coincide with the re-opening. hope it doesn't get pushed back.

They likely won't need another 3 month refurb before the 50th, they will need a short one for sure though.I'll just say this - if this is the last refurb of Splash before the 50th, it will be a disaster. So, IMO, there will be another refurb of this ride, and this one has nothing to do with the 50th.
